It feels like so many fighting games today are painstakingly tinkered with to be the most precise and clean and balanced game they can be, and it feels good to pick up a game and say "Oh god this is just fun, who cares if anything works the way it's supposed to."

A lot of his strengths end up being knowledge checks that the opponent can work around, and his frankly abysmal defensive options really matter a lot when your opponent has you in blockstun. No DP, and no fast buttons to challenge really limits what he's able to do.

He definitely has the damage, but hes negative on all his moves but the sword summon. Meanwhile, characters like striker get in and you don't get your turn back until shes out of mana.

The Buff Icon beneath Trouble Shooter is probably supposed to be a hand reaching out to a pile of gold. But to me it looks more like someone grabing a slice of pizza.
.....not likely....hes legit trash sadly. He has the ability to rob a round with his high damage combos but he has no way to affect the match outside of his gimmick full screen moves. Meaning that every character just mauls him. Especially the top tiers like SM. He makes for great highlights but don't expect him to be at any tourney outside of pools.

His fastest normal being 10f, he has a bad counter (its fast but barely active), movement is bad, he's big so he gets Instant overheaded, and lastly, he has nothing good to counter guard break, striker and even ranger are terrible matchups because his defense is just wack
Imma start working at walmart soon so imma save up for a ps5. This will definitely be one of the first games I pick up. Ghostblade has definitely caught my attention the most out of the roster so far.
Here's the thing about Lost Warrior. His normals are slow and have bad range. His defense sucks. He can struggle easily. But he can kill you in a few moves and has various attacks with infinite range. So, yeah. He's a boss character.
Incorrect. His ranged game is garbo as is his close range. He is a punish character. He sucks at all ranges, but has the tools to kill you in one hit if you make a mistake while he is in awakening.
This game is sick but seeing Lotus’s video about possible DLC I’m excited for the future of DNF Duel (I saw a character named Spectre and she looks sick she uses some type of iajutsu)
This is the one fighting game where I'm actually excited for DLC's The possibilities of seeing characters from DFO like Dark Lancer, Spitfire, Brawler etc etc in a fighting game makes me so excited for this game's future

He also is one of the 2 that can use conversion for free along with a good DP thats safe in awakening too. He has alot of range if he also had fast ass normals then he would be busted asf for how strong he already is.

I main enchantress and GAWD DAYUM it's difficult to play her effectively, puppet characters are often harder to play in fighting games and some and or most times top tier For example: Zato in Guilty Gear
I've played around 500 PC matches now and I'm pretty sure I've only run into 2 Enchantress players myself and neither of them did anything like instant overheads or anything crazy. No one is using her right now.

Yeah he is. He has no defensive options and extremely slow normals. Combined with a large hitbox, and most of his offensive tricks being gimmicks that can be labbed through, and he's bad. Bottom 3 in the game at the moment.

That LW making a lot of mistakes, diving a lot too. Should have kept Max at range and stopped diving, idk why he did empty Teleport or used orb in close range. Weird.
Empty tele into throw is good, but he does seem to not know the effective combos. Dive is -5 on block and has a bad horizontal hitbox. He whiffed a dozen times and max could've punished. Im legit surprised he's diamond, could just be LW is a hard knowledge check
He never did any TK cancels either and went for the less damage/worse oki combo enders with the j.M or 214M to end combos. Didn't see him use 5M to anti air either. Since he's in diamond I'm guessing that person was either just learning LW or got some easy matches.

Also ranks are based on over all performance and ignores character usage meaning that you can get to diamond on sm then play lw against other diamond players. Since you cant reset rank picking up a new character will result in weird matches where a high ranked player acts like they don’t know how to play.

This game's rps is in an awesome spot as it is but it's ridiculously difficult due to the bs. The best thing I can think to do is honestly limit meterless special access behind exhaustion that way meter management becomes a lot higher of a priority and the big brain characters will be able to shine.
