Temptation and the Holy Spirit

You cannot cleanse your body, soul, and spirit on your own; you need the Parakletos (the Helper, the Holy Spirit), as Paul explains in Romans 8:6-11. You must allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and keep Him by obeying God. Ultimately, the decision to obey or not is yours, and often it comes down to a decision made in an instant.
