I've always enjoyed watching Francisco play. That crazy water pump stroke of his is simply amazing! It's so smooth yet there is so much going on there. Most players have a mechanical stroke while his is purely organic.
I remember when Bustamante hit the pool scene in the US. I thought holy moly, these Filipinos can play. I was always intrigued with their flamboyant strokes. I played a lot of pool in the Philippines some 30 years ago when I traveled there regularly for business. Both in Manila and Angeles City. They love to gamble. I always hoped I would run into Efren in AC, where he's from, and get the honor to play him. Never happened.
Absolute pool royalty with this one Karl!! Django and Efren made me fall in love with 9 ball in the early 2000s. Francisco has such a beautiful cue action. Loved this one Karl 🔥
I met Busti at Buffalo's in Louisiana at the one pocket tournament a few years back. We talked for about 30 minutes. He was extremely nice and a pleasure to talk to. He's a great ambassador for pool.
He sat down next to me at buffs few months ago and I was a bit excited to have a conversation and someone immediately farted near by and he say “wow somebody farted” and walked away 😅
Really good camera work. I've been trying to understand what's going on with Bustamante's stroke for several years now, and this helps a lot! Thanks, Karl!
What an awesome vieo. Thanks Karl. Some amazing up close action of Busty. Amazing the the tip of the cue pulls back beyond the loop of his bridge! Amazing. Near the end when he was one the rail, you could here it thump the rail a bit.
Efren Reyes and Djangoo Bustamante was the philipino player i always search the tournament.. see him in starsport when i was in junior high school . he is great player...!
There is an old school Filipino player at the pool hall I play at in San Diego who knows Bustamante from the Phillippines ever since they were kids. He showed me a photo of them when they were like 14 years old. All these old school Pinoys are so good in pool. Whenever they let me play with them I get smoked but I learn from them.
the hidden legend.. besides efren reyes.. the d'jango.. and not forgotten.. Ronnie Alcano the volcano... and many more pinoy hidden legend.. and also not forgotten karl boyes the box office himself also a legend..
Love these vids haha keep it up! Still hoping to somehow get tickets to the Reyes Cup and meet you and all the other pool players but idk how to find tickets tbh :(
Dyango still got it and really wants to play in the Reyes Cup but players are selected according to ranking and he was not active internationally anymore. Nice guy.
Love that he just laughed at you whenever you potted the white 😂 started playing 9 ball a bit after being more of a UK 8 ball player. Find the cut of the middle pockets really harsh and never feel confident potting into them. Was interesting that to me it looked like the first frame it was easier for Bustamante to take the 8 in the middle, but he went out of his way to get position on it so he could take it on the top bag. Not sure if it was camera angles being deceptive, but made me wonder if the pros avoid middle pockets when they can too?
Hi karl this your video it s intresting for me yah you know there is not many youtuber which is can interview and playing with a django thats amazing with remainded he is one of a legend which is still playing now I hope sometimes you can make a video with roonie o sullivan like you ever make a video with steven hendry Iam so waiting that thanks karl
I’m surprised busty isn’t doesn’t have the level of fame of Efren. His stroke is fascinating. Absolute talent to be a me to be so good with such a loose stroke 💪🏻
Amazing that a player of Bustamantes caliber can easily find money games. Nobody at my local bar would play Karl or Busty...at least not straight up LOL

His wobbly stroke always amazed me. Looks like he has no idea what he's doing LOL.
The story goes that he did that on purpose early on to get more action and seem like he didn’t know what he was doing
Tell alex then, hahahaha
5:39 That wink and "hehe" made my day 🤣🤣
The best 13 minutes of my day.
What a terrific ambassador for the game, his country, and a genuinely pleasant gentleman!
both of them
@@maxhung69 for sure
7:09 Karl: "Is the 2 ball safe?"
Francisco: "Not really."
Haha, gotta love Django!
and proceeded to bank it. badass

Glad it was helpful!
That Busty stroke is wild. True Legend. Great content Karl
Busty lol
It is actually absurd
Mika says Django is the most feared player back in the 90s.
True legends of the game both of you 👌🏼👌🏼
the bank at 7:26 with power draw for shape on the 3 was a sexy shot
Always a pleasure having you Karl here in the PH. You missed the opportunity to do a What's In The Bag.

Django’s timing is something else, it’s pretty hard to control with a long bridge
The man that made me LOVE the game
Love that he just laughed at you whenever you potted the white 😂

I enjoyed that Karl. And thanks for getting easy and relax with Django.
Django, what a legend!
Django is my favourite!
Him and Efren were my childhood idols.

Hi Karl, are you using Little Monster break cue? If that's so, which type of it?
1:51 grandpa wrong potting the ball tho, instead 3 he pot the 4 first 😅

In the Philippines Django is a pool demigod. We adore him as much as we do Efren. These two are considered national heroes/treasures back home
@@patxizabaljauregui2543 awesome love to hear it
I can’t believe how far he pulls the cue back into his bridge hand when he breaks. He pulls it back past his fingers.
Hey Karl, since when do you play a JFlowers Cue? Or is it Jaysons Cue? Greetz from Germany Thomas
Let him gamble to get an idea and experience how Pilipinos play pool.
