Discover my Body is probably the best bio-horror game I've ever played. I can't think of anything else in recent memory that got to me. Maybe Covetous, but that was years ago. Definitely two games which upset me on a much deeper level.
My theory is that this is a realm similar to Warhammer 40k's warp, a place that mirrors sentient being's feelings, emotions and desires, like hate and lust.
I got this explanation from GameFAQs: "Galshell’s story is pretty simple. Earth is getting attacked by disgusting monsters from subspace. Earth’s only hope is getting two people who are brave (or stupid) enough to fly some experimental aircraft and kill all the monsters. You get two playable characters, an insane girl who is actually a reanimated serial killer and a man who was an unwilling government test subject."
the first one overall art design, is just waay better. They look uniquely grotesque, disturbing and otherworldly.. it's really oddly fascinating to look at. This one... it's just boooring and uninteresting design... also straight porn for fucked up people (especially the last boss 💀) they really ran out of ideas huh?

Probably the first game I've seen where there's an enemy that's just a woman literally shitting projectiles at you. Thumbs up

I use "dgVoodoo 2" and it work well. You need to copy files from folder \MS\x86\*.dll to game folder.
