Schaublin 102-vm feed gear change how-to

Here a tooth gear change at a Schaublin 102VM toolmakers lathe.
That gear gets often chewd up by engaging the gears while the machine is opperating. That is a crucial mistake! Dont do it ever!
Engage the gear only when the machine stays still, use you hands to engage the gears you wil lfeel it when they engage in syncrocy.
I have found old stock gears out of pure luck. New parts cost 350.- CHF so i made a ABS version and 3d printed a gear. Works flawlesly to.
UPDATE: The ABS gear has been chewed up while feeding in to much material. Wouldnt i have feed it to much it had worked longer. So rest in peace ABS idea.

Yeah i saw that too. What are you interested in? As long as i dont have to take apart the whole mashine i will keep it coming.
