there are many unrequired accidentals that have been used in the spear of justice section in alto, for example g#. there is already an a flat in the key signature. other than that, this truly is magnificent.
That's just a symptom of moving notes up and down, sometimes they get the incorrect/unnecessary accidentals. Simply moving it in the correct direction can fix it!
Low G? The lowest a Bari can go is low A I’m pretty sure? And to play low A you have to have a Bari with the low A key, others is Bb if they don’t have that key….
May want to add a note for a bass sax double on Megalovania, even if you bend out those G sharps and naturals they wouldn't be clear enough to come across. Even the old Eb saxes that had the G extension apparently play incredibly stuff in that register
Hurrah! What a wonderful performance! Congratulations to all the four of you. I wish you (all the four of you) all the best to perform better and better in more and more pieces like this. I love saxophone quartet very much. It gives the effect of playing duplication of same copy of melody in both upper and lower octave ( both left and right hand) with addition of two more notes (keys) on foot-pumped harmonium ( reed organ). Duplication of same copy of melody on both right hand piano style keyboard manual and left hand button type manual simultaneously with addition of a note lower in piano style keyboard and a note higher in button type manual on free bass accordion too gives the same effect. Not only saxophone quartet but also clarinet quartet and quartet of different wind musical instruments too gives the same effect when all the four instrumentalists simultaneously play in harmony.
5:08 okay, whenever i find undertale music i always find crazy stuff like b sharp on an alto saxophone?? is this actually possible?? can someone link me an image to the fingering of it???
Altissimo is the answer. It's extremely difficult to do. However, considering pretty much the entire bari sax part it should be expected that every person who playes this has the skill to pull of altisimo.
Typically most saxophone quartets are in SATB order (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bari) the second staff is Alto. Although there are quartets ordered in AATB order. Just look at the key signature and most of the time the alto and bari will have the same key signature, same thing with soprano and tenor! Just be on the look out
@@brandonbrotherton574 At best, you can do a g sharp. You aren't getting to a g. And if you do, that g is going to be extremely out of tune. I promise you.

it was uneeded but great!

I was about to play the Bari part for megalovania until low G
just play it in the normal octave
It’s easy
Low g is impossible without a fancy exspensive one, but just sub it out with the next possible note. Or raise it an octave

I’m so pissed they didn’t add death by glamour
i play baritone and have a saxophone friend
and a trumpet friend
and a tuba friend
squad goals
Relatable, except we have a bari (me), a French horn, a trombone, and a tenor hahaha

"Bass Sax"
@@smalltalk2803 Thats literally a thing
Uhh, Low G# and 2:39? I didn't know Baritone Saxophones could play that low.
cover the bell with your foot
hawkeye fighter Baritone saxophone can't play G and G# dude
I play Baritone saxophone and I can do a G# with my mouth but a G is too low guy
Bruh I play Bari also.... I know...
Nacletch mess up probably
IM SO GONNA SHOW MEGALOVANIA TO MY FRIENDS THAT IS AWESOME. I play soprano sax so I get one of the best parts. I also play trumpet.
BRUH But soprano has so many rests in all the songs brooo alto gang for life 😎😎
One vintage bari had G extensions
THE MAJESTIC NEON DIAMOND if you know what your doing you can bend it down from low A to low G.
hawkeye fighter It would at best be a Sharp G. Bending Low A to G# is fair, but low G is asking for too much without some sort of mute
Late but if your in a high reverb area and again bend it down you can get a low G but its still pretty hard
@@hawkeyefighter6366 not possible

2:02 is my favorite part!
Why is there a clicking sound every time the soprano sax plays a C?
5:08 okay, whenever i find undertale music i always find crazy stuff like b sharp on an alto saxophone?? is this actually possible?? can someone link me an image to the fingering of it???
B# is enharmonic for C natural! So just play a C natural when you see B#
can you please make a vid with the melody part only? I’m confused on what to play. thx
Wait... I play Horn. Why am I here?
Cannibalistic Roomba
Me too buddy
as an alto player, 4:32 - 5:32 scares me. :0
Leo Rael omg yeah I hate sharps so much
@@dontnoticethecatintheprofi4317 yeah I like the sound of sharps and flats but they just make everything less chromatic and easy
Ummmmmm what bari can go to low g????
Which line is tenor 🎷? i am a true idot
Noice
Huh. I was here before and I didn’t even know..
really good music but WHERE IS THE GREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT PAAAAPYRUUUUUUUUSSSSS!!!!!!
1:12 I didn't know tenor sax can go that high
Altissimo
You have to "overblow" (its a bad word for it) a certain fingering for it.
It's called altissimo

Its just high G you dont need to do an overtone for that
Bruh in dummy how do tenuto-stacatos get played like, what??
Bari saxophones lowest note is a you could've put a higher octave
Brick boy you can play the higher octave it doesn’t matter
There is a low g bari
What is B# on alto sax?
It would be C
Thanks
DarkBoyBlue 2700 C

Don't ask me how bu I somehow misread undertale as megalonania
The tenor part is cool and all but the key signatures..I'm scared of those
Sad Sadness I feel you. I play tenor and recently picked soprano. The 7 sharps in Spear of Justice seems nigh impossible.
Sorry people are dumb
It mostly just seems like working your fingers to remember to play those notes sharp or flat. It's mostly just muscle memory

1:37 on alto sax is impossible I swear
GrimDoom13 it is possible, a high E
I know right, i was playing this, then saw this, then stopped, then walked out my room, screamed, and then came back to TRY to play it
It's a high F. Is that really that hard though? I've had it in concert music a few times.
@@FireFoxDOPE High E is 2 palm keys and the top bridge key
octive key, high D and D# key, and the top key on the side.
