- Ein kleines „Horrorflügli" an der Mentschelen bei Thun -- Nordostwind -- eingepackt von sinkender Basis -- zu späte Reaktion -- knapp nach Süden geflüchtet (siehe ab 4'15'' -- Full Sound mit Kopfhörer oder guten Speakern)

Thank you for sharing!, i know exactly how you felt, ik happened to me also. Since then i always take a clear compass with me, so that i can hold course if i ever get sucked up in a cloud. Greetings from the netherlands!!

The part in the cloud would be indeed pretty horrifying, might it have ended with a cliff crash. Luckily it didn’t, it’s always smart to have a compass on board but better stay out of the clouds. You were right to be scared. A little bit of fear is good, it keeps you alive ;-) The rest of the flight looks lovely. Nice music btw.
Ich finde schon, dass dieser Film einen durchaus gestalterischen Anspruch verfolgt.

flying in the clouds like that is super scetchy. You can't see if you're flying against a 100 meter high cliff with 35 km/h.

Schöne Bilder und könnte auch als Lehrfilm dienen wie man es nicht machen soll. Das mit den 30 kmh Wind, gerade auch wenn ich mir so anschaue wie der Schirm nach der Landung fällt und ruhig daliegt, naja , das glaub ich jetzt mal nicht sooo...Nichtsdestotrotz, finde das Video gut gemacht, Schnitt , Ton , etc

yes right - just one moment when there was no sight and no orientation - and an escape to the leeside rotor - - (and) -- it always depends on the capacity of your own nerves: mine are not so strong :-)
its not just the no sight part that was dangerous, he tried to abort the run at the top and land back on the peak because the wind was to strong and unpredictable, but he missed it and was forced you run anyway. most of the ride was f*cking risky

Bei 00:51 schon deutliche cumulus congestus zu sehen im hochgebirge wäre ich niemals gestartet könnte auch ganz anders enden..... trozdem das beste aus der situation gemacht.. 🖒
war doch ein cooler Flug! Ein wenig bauchkribbeln gehört dazu
seh ich auch so :-) was wäre fliegen ohne Bauchkribbeln - da könnte man gleich beim joggen bleiben...
flueche bringt i demfall ganz sicher au nüt meh!
