I don’t think people understand that Xiao’s character motivation is to live freely without burdens. He can’t learn to enjoy life if he dies now lmaoo. I get what people are talking about, but I think it’s because a lot of the playerbase has not noticed that Xiao’s supposed death flags, were the exact opposite lol. I mean his banner title is literally invitation to mundane life XD

And now people are genuinely mad that he didn't die even tho there were no hints about it like... what. It may be bc people want characters to die bc it's interesting for the plot, but the stuff I've seen is just... yikes.
A lot of people didnt realize it and I feel it is one of the reasons why Genshin makes some things explicitly obvious. Those red ghosts that were attacking the gang when they were trying to escape where the people who sacrificed themselves to seal the Chasm. Their one goal was to prevent anything living from escaping the Chasm and that’s why they attacked. They were the souls fulfilling their missions until their last breath

I like how bwaap was the one that realized that if he did not tell Zhongli what he was doing than he would have died! I got the same conclusion after completing this mission. Watching other content creators play this everyone missed this part of this whole quest!

The cutscene where he tells zhongli he's going to seek the nameless yaksha (right in the middle of the escape cutscene at that) is literally put there so we as a player aren't "????" when zhongli appears to save him in the last second. It's obvious he would've died if he didn't tell him, i dont know why you think people missed that? It's just an obvious conlusion that's why it wasn't mentioned explicitly

I'm of the opinion that even if Xiao hadn't talked to Zhongli, Zhongli would have know. As has already been shown, Zhongli only acts as a clueless mortal.

Not counting her job as a lawyer, she's the best person to have when a situation will or would escalate despite her claim not liking crack of relationship in front of her.

Corrupted Bosacius’ “fight” is underwhelming ngl. I guess Hoyoverse was too occupied to make his sick in-game model or interesting fight after Shanghai lockdown. I mean he had a great buildup that can be used as a cool obstacle/boss to fight against
It makes sence lore wise . You arent fighting him , you fighting an illusion based on him . A very old illusion at that . They still could have made it more interesting though , agreed .
from game developer standpoint i think this is not it. altho he is "gone" we might some other version of him made by futui cause you wouldnt wamma design a boss fight that lasts only 1 minute in game such as genshin

Itto is oni (yokai), not a ghost or spirit. Exorcism implies they only work on such, like those spirits in Yae Miko story quest.

Many of the Archon quests have made me cry throughout my entire time playing genshin but this one really takes the cake. I laughed I cried. This quest was something truly special🥺
