Most commonly you will be in level 0 but you can very well be in another level of this endless reality.
I also nocliped into backrooms. That dude gave me a sandwich. Which is the best sandwich i ever tasted.. And then i slept and after i woke up i was in my bed with 2 EXTRA SANDWICHES!!
