    It’s beautiful Julie! I say redo it if you aren’t happy with it because who wants to look at really important photos and only see how much you don’t like the page?

    It's your album, yours to do and redo if or when you see fit. I myself have pulled apart and redone more pages than I can count... I've had two ½ finished albums that I've pulled a part and completely redone (one of which i did this twice) because I wasn't happy with them and it stalled my progress working on them. Once I revisited those pages I had fresh interest in completing them. I love those albums now. Do what you gotta do ❤

      Thank you for sharing with me, I thought I was being a little crazy but you are so right we need to love what we do and I didn't love the first page!

    I love your redo of this layout. It's absolutely beautiful now and so worth doing. I have quite a few I'd like to redo from my kids baby albums.
    Love that OG stamp set you have from Stampin' Up!

      I can’t believe I still have this set, it’s just one of those things I need to keep in my life.

    I do love how your page turned out and the colors look great. I have no problem redoing my pages that i really don't like. I have been looking through my old layouts and have definitely got a pile that I'm planning to re-do. Mine had very little or no patterned paper and the photos were just stuck all over the page in no particular design. with no mats. My slight OCD makes me want to produce good pages that I love for my adult kids albums. Unfortunately it makes me a slow scrapper. Thanks for sharing! and hello from New Zealand!

      Hello NZ friend, its so nice to see how far these process videos reach. My earlier pages were not that great and some I will redo especially the ones I'll pass along to my kids.

    I love the page, though I must admit I liked it when you first showed it before sticking everything down as I liked the whimsical look of the letters rather than the formal straight look. I for one hate the early pages I did in my CM albums & would love to redo the lot!! I didn't have a clue on how to scrapbook & sadly I am not in the least artistic by nature.
    So it is only since covid & you ladies starting up your youtube channels that I have learned how to create a beautiful page & add my photos to it & actually like what I have done. That album looks like a CM album as they are what I have & use. Their plastic sleeves are thinner but they have held up over time in my albums so far. However, I did prefer the side loading plastic sleeves that CTMH designed for us to use in our albums as they are thicker & allow me to stick the extra photos over the top of the plastic sleeve & being side loading make it easy to slip the page in & out so I will miss them.

    This is absolutely beautiful! I am going to have to redo some of my pages that I created in the early 90's because I hate them. Most of them have no paper, just stickers scrapped directly on the page. I have been struggling with the CM pocket pages to keep them stable. They seem to slide. I have my fingers crossed that SU carries the post bound albums. That you so much for the inspiration

    I’m actually going to someday redo my mom’s book. I was a terrible scrapbooker back in the day and it was all cardstock. Nothing pretty. So now I want to use Yesterday and Today (I think that’s what it’s called). To fix her book. Plus since then I’ve found maybe 50 photos that need to go in there.

      It’s fun to revisit with a new perspective, the paper would be great for that type of album. I say yes go for it.

    Love the page! I would love to redo my daughter’s album from 31 years ago. But how do you get the photos off that have been glued for that long?

    • @JulieCarriere_TheScrapZone
      @JulieCarriere_TheScrapZone  Місяць тому

      I actually reprinted these ultrasound photos. If you can’t get them off just cut them out. It’s always hard with older pictures.

    Normally, I would say don’t redo a page. Since your page was ruined, removing it from the page protector, I think it was justified. I absolutely agree that the more important and sentimental the photos the harder it is to scrap them. My parents have been gone, six and 18 years. I have been unable to scrapbook any of their photos. My husband died within the last year. I have made a point of scrapbooking his photos as soon as possible so I don’t become paralyzed by the process.

      I'm so sorry for you lose, but I'm so happy you were able to capture the memories of your husband. Those are truly the memories that count the most.

    Nothing wrong with a re-do.
