useful tips but didn't work this time. phone vibrates and I feel the home button click as I have an SE. Force restart used to work when the phone was frozen but now I know my phone works but the screen is just black. Don't want to do the restore options with itunes as explained risk of losing recent files but now I'm just going to have the apple store take a look

okay, dumb question. my iPhone 12 Pro Max was doing good, at 45 percent I put it on the charger for the night at least an hour in a half before I went to bed, went to check notifications and it was off which was weird. after trying to turn it back on for about 30 to 45 minutes minutes I gave up and left it on the charger. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get it to come on and can't. any ideas? I would like to say this, I went to Verizon and did swap from visible to Verizon and later that night the phone went dead. still not sure if maybe Verizon shut off the phone remotely or not but kinda weird it did it though.

@@Triceypoo Well, it’s a long story. My younger brother put it in water, my dad blow dried it (when I INSISTED for it to not be blow dried), & then I plugged it to charge and it just shut off. So, took it to apple and they said this was weird after scanning it. My dad said that it’ll cost $500 to repair it but even if we spend that much, it may still end up not working properly. I just HOPE that it can be fixed someday bc this is pretty unfair I mean.
