Absolutely incredible work!! If possible could you share your expertise regarding brushes and brush selection and which ones you use. How many and what sizes and type(hair) of brushes does one really need for traditional Chinese painting(with particular reference to detail work like you have done above). Obviously washes require bigger brushes but. Not concerned about them. Also, can traditional calligraphy be done with these same brushes as well or do they require a dedicated set with particular brush types. And finally, how can i get original hu brushes from houzhou brush makers and if you have any info about the reputable master brush makers and links to them please do share. Paper is readily available but top level brushes arnt nor is there too much info about them. Hence im asking a master.I will be very grateful. Sorry for the long message. But im a little enthusiastic about this. Thank you. And keep up the fantastic work!!

一般情况下，写书法用的毛笔都可以画画，但是可以画画的毛笔并不一定都可以写书法，按要书写字的大小毛笔分也会随着大小变化，中国画有写的说法就因为画中国画如图写字一样，所以在画面落款（你可以理解为签名）的地方经常看到某某写而不是某某画；中国画和中国书法都讲究笔墨纸砚的选择和使用，根据不同目标会做出一下选择：1、如果你想画工笔画，就必须选择熟纸--熟宣，这种纸的特点是对墨（中国书画所使用的墨）和颜料有较强的附着力、吸附力。这就是中国书法和中国画能保存千年的根本所在，关于什么是工笔画这点，可以简单按照现存的100年以上的人物或花鸟画做为参考，或者你也可以留意我后续也会在自己频道发布相关视频内容，同时我希望得到这个频道也是尊敬的朋友对我此举的理解，我不是故意借机为自己做广告，只是因为看到这位朋友写下这麽多字的留意，感觉这是一种对中国画的诉求，大家都是中国画中国传统文化的见习者。2、毛笔（请大家不要简单理解为刷子，这点让所有中国书画界的朋友感到不舒服，因为画画和写字不是在刷地板漆）为方便理解：毛笔简单分为大号、中号、小号、特大号、特种如内画（内画就是在较小器皿内部画，画好后又是可以拿在手里观赏的画，因为绘画空间太小，需要极大,,,,,,,太折磨人在现在比较少了）几种，一般写字都以兼毫为主，为避免翻译不够严谨导致不必要的误解，兼毫我们可以理解为狼毫(狼毛）和羊毫(羊毛）混合到一个笔杆上而为写字画画特制的笔。这是单纯按照书写字体大小划分的；3、中国画按绘画技法又细分为传统画和写意画、现代大写意，等类别；按照绘画题材内容又分为山水、人物花鸟、虫羽等类别，同时在纸的选择上又分为生宣、半生半熟、熟宣等等类别，都是根据题材或绘画技法类别进行区分和选择的，担心说太多影响大家心情，祝大家每天都有好事发生，哈哈！

中国这种笔墨画正经叫画画，画的功夫。叫“正在画”。我要是中国画专业的，我鼻腔往天上翘了。我不是说西洋画不好。大量看梵高，笔触与中国画有渊源。只不过有不一样的东西在里面，比如色彩，强烈的情绪。中国画基本追求深沉的宁静去了，纯美。
