Love how the reward for a "Silent Assassin" rating is a freakin' sawed-off shotgun. The most discreet of ALL weapons!
I don't think anybody knows this but there is a 5.45mm Pistol in this level which people think is only available in Mission 5 (Invitation to a party with that Russian dude).
There is a road block at the far left end of the map (the one near the apartment building) with 3 soilders and then an additional 1 soilder. The 5.45mm Pistol is with one of those 3 soilders.
I found out about this when I played the level with Mass Murderer Ranking 😁😈

I took the pistol and night vision, went to the the manhole with the army uniform next to it, then I sneaked into the back of the Zeitsev building, knocked out an FSB suited guy, picked the lock, sneaked upstairs and shot the General sitting right next to the window (your target, always), one shot to the head, and then took off and out the way in where I came. I changed back into my suit by the manhole, and escaped via the subway. Still got a Silent Assassin rating.
Which one is this zeitsev building? The one where a exclamation mark is glowing?

Doing this mission , I killed every guard on my way with headshots but stil failed ! You played this mission like the movie ! Nobody knew what happened and Hitman took his Subway to home ! Incredible Gameplay !
I love each Hitman game for a different reason
Hitman 2 Silent Assassin: because its the reason I got hooked on the series
Hitman Contracts: because it was the first one that left me open mouthed
Hitman Blood Money: because its the best of them all
Himan Absolution: because the graphics improved alot and because it showed a new and beautiful gameplay and the potential the series has to continue the Hitman's legacy

@@fyoutube9410 I enjoyed it, but man was it flawed. The disguises felt broken, it's up there with this game. How the guards can immediately see through almost any and all disguises you have.

The new Hitman games are amazing but this is the first one I ever played and is still my favourite.

I always replay this mission just to listen to these adrenaline-rushing soundtracks scored by Jesper Kyd.
It's a shame that a group of composers can't even provide the same ambiance in Absolution, always makes me feel sleepy while trying to garrote the target.

No matter what I can't get through the station with a sniper in my sleeve with out one of the civies running for the damn police or army douche. So last time the both saw me being shady i dropped the svd and turned them into human swiss cheese with my newly earned suppressed silverballers. BOOSH. A damn shame too I really wanna silent assassin the whole game. But I never even beat it. Farthest I got was killing the general and saving the agent. I really wanted to know how to stealth that one and thats when I found your videos, so now I back track finished lvl 1 2 seconds slower than you. not bad for a first time stealthing. And level 2 Im spotted within a minute.

I get lucky with the civies and make it through the metro everything goes fine then my luck runs out in the locker room during the escape. Twice so far I ran head first into a second guard on the staircase. You really got a lucky run here. Perfect civ spawn and a seem less escape though the metro.
That game is harder to play on pc but i compete all its missions with agent 47's horror dreams.

Chapter 2: St. Petersburg, Russia.
Mission 1: St. Petersburg Stakeout.
Introduction: Even though Father Vittorio was not at the Sicilian villa, 47 has a debt to repay to the agency. In exchange for information on the villa, 47 agreed to take a contract. This is a single hit in the city of Peter and Grant.
Your target is an ex-KGB officer. He will attend a meeting at 1300 hours in the Pushkin building on Varosnij Square. It takes place in the room in the west wing on the second floor. The meeting was arranged so you could make your hit.
Mission information: The subway provides your entrance and exit to and from the mission location. Some weapons have been stashed in the subway station in locker 137: sniper rife, pistol and ammunition. All access routes to the building where the meeting takes place have been blocked by military patrols. However, a sewer system runs underneath the area with several exits, including one inside the subway station. In addition to the weapons in the locker, a disguise as a Russian solider will be helpful in moving around safely. There is no easy way into the Pushkin building, your best bet is to take a shot with a sniper rifle from a building across the street. This building is marked on the map.
Mission Objectives:
1. Kill the general at the meeting.
2. Don’t harm anyone else attending the meeting.
3. Return to the subway train for extraction.
Weapons and equipment: Lockpick, Kitchen knife, Baller’s .45 ACP, 9mm Subsonic Pistol, Fiber wire, Anesthetic, Kitchen knife, on-site weapons acquisition and weapons that were acquired on passed mission.
Unlockable when have achieved “Silent Assassin” Rank:
1. First time ranking in “Silent Assassin” - Silenced Ballers .45 pistols.
2. Second time ranking in “Silent Assassin” - Sawed-off Shotgun.
3. “Silent Assassin” must be achieved in the following mission to obtain M4 5.56 Rifle.
Mission 1: St. Petersburg Stakeout.
Mission 2: Kirov Park Meeting.
Mission 3: Tubeway Torpedo.
Mission 4: Invitation to a Party.

tbh, This mission is the toughest in the entire game.
I always maded other very long path (and more harder with tons of guards) to the abandoned building... i never knowed that this mission is this short.

I just killed the subject and I lost I was like wtf I searched who is the the subject and I just realised I killed two generals with one shot
I was stuck on this for an hour and i gave up once i heard that the general was bald i took the shot with nobody else in the way and it still failed the mission and then i tried again when 47 said he had a positive ID and i waited a few seconds after for another line to appear and i was like okay i guess im good for the shot and it STILL failed lol

This Mission is quite challenging plus you have to listen to Diana quite carefully to assassinate the right target
For some reason i cannot do this mission as smoothly. The npcs always see me when i grab the sniper

I go the other way around the building, by its front. I was testing routes ans always prefered to see if guards wouldn't surprise me.

Why do you put a two handed gun into holster so you're holding it with your left? What difference does it make?
Allows you to use right handed pistols and other weapons.

The most difficult part, I found in this level, on Professional level, is that the civils' begin position is random, the best case is the one in the vid: you have them all back towards you, or you have to go down to track and to another side of the hall to evade them. Killing and escaping is not that hard.... but, you never look into the keyhole sir?
Yeah, those civilians can be annoying, but I always just pay them no mind and run past them with the sniper without a care in the world.
I must have had an angel or my shoulder or something, because i went into this one time on Professional. Outside a guy checking the room i pretty much got this one mission on professional. I was very bad at this the first time however. But as an opening mission the two first ones in Silent Assassin is awesome, i prefer later missions but for openings these are great to start the player with
But fyi i think the mission that i thought made no sense was the Malaysia mission, if you just sneeze there they will shoot you : P. Its an interesting mission for sure.
I need help, I can do SA ratings on normal, but when I try to fibre wire the don in anathema on proffessional he always turns round before I can strangle him? I'm sick of restarting.

You have to use sneak and spam the strangle button as fast as possible so as to strangle him before he could turn around. Thats how i do it in bloodmoney
@@salmannazeer2688 thanks for the advice, I'll remember that when I start blood money. So I found out where I was going wrong lol, I didnt know he had 2 stealth modes, a kneeling stealth and a creeping stealth. I was trying to kneel and get people and they always turned around lol.

Da hell I didn't get a sawn off shotgun. Finished in 8 minutes one shot fired one alert no saves on normal. I took the svd with me cuz i was sick of the civies seeing me with eyes in the back of their heads. Literally I would be walking behind one at a far distance and he would just start running for the guards. How can they award me with sup. ballers two missions in a row?

Well there were only like 5 guys in there (4 of which were in uniform), and there was only one guy in there that 1. appeared to be rather old, 2. looked to be rather bald, 3. was clearly a drinker. Im just saying that for a trained, hardened, experienced assasin like 47, thats more than enough intel to decide the target.
