Definitely not splash proof. I think my issue is that they give a PPFD value but they don't show the spectrum. A good grow light will have a spike at 450 nm, and another at 680 nm, to promote both growth and blooming. Without a spectrum analysis, who knows what you are getting. (I'm not saying it is a bad light, but if I'm spending the money I want to know what I'm getting)
