We are right in the middle of our season
I cherish every hunt with my dad at 75 I hope he has lots of hunts left. I lost my mom a month a month and half ago and she didn't make it to 75 so now i try to cherish every moment with my dad i have left. We got four ducks today spoons, teal and a sprig. My dad made the shot on the spirg . I'm also impressed with fumbles

One suggestion from rewatching this season is to bring back the quick unique intro recordings that played before the main intro earlier in the season. Just food for thought, but I enjoyed them.

Love the videos. I live out in Chicago and hunt the fox river by carpentersville and all we get is mallards and woods. Wish we got mix bags. But there’s something special about the mallards never get bored of hunting them. Also smacked a few bibbed mallards last weekend

Come on guys, you have hunted for enough years to know that the easy and sure way to ID a drake from a hen mallard is to look at the top white line of feathers over the speculum. Ends over purple, drake, goes into the brown , hen ( this is going in towards body).
Not only that but I miss identified the wigeon as a drake. Shameful on my part

Haven't tried that tracking feature. Does it draw a line showing your full path? I've actually been looking for something like that for navigating through the massive cat tail marshes so when we go back, we can easily find the route we took.

In our area, the wigeons taste the worse for some reason, gadwalls are actually pretty good, and teals are still the best, right behind brant of course. I'll take anything i can get right now, not much birds here.

That duck is drake you can always tell by the bill .Every duck can be identified by its bill
I like to shoot spoonies. The only reason I don't shoot a lot of them is because there is mercury advisory for them in my area.
