I never realized how much of this game was just doing awful things lol. Stealing random items around town, destroying a few Hollywood stars, destroying cars and buildings, overall being a douche etc. But somehow it gives me such happy nostalgic memories.
I’m pretty sure by the look of the character and what he does with the Launcher towards the construction workers, it’s a homage to the 1993 American Crime film called “Falling Down” which features the the protagonist/antagonist rampage through a city after a series of events. The character played by Michael Douglas looks awfully similar facially and how he is dressed. Could be a hidden reference ;)

I missed playing with this game and so a year ago I bought from Ebay a second hand PS2 and the entire series that came out on PS and PS2 ,but mainly just to play with American Wasteland, and to enjoy and love American Wasteland once again, . My favorite skateboard game ever and my favorite of the Tony Hawk franchise.

When I was a kid playing this, taking Sanchez out was a pain! I could not hold that bar for the life of me. The other one was during the parkour lessons, I could not move my darn fingers fast enough haha..I loved this game.
I was today years old when I found out the main character voice is Will Friedle(Batman Beyond Terry) and Mindy the punk chick in this game is Cree Summer who voices Max in Batman Beyond as well. Mind blown.

I’d argue THUG 1 beats it out for writing quality but this is a damn close second place.

I’d say combine T.H.U. 1-2 and release that first. Then release T.H.A.W. the next year or 6 months after
