As said by asmongold (a streamer) while reacting to daiblo 4's devs playing their own game (they played horribly), i think same situation can be applied here in other ways like i think the devs are not seen in-game, playing their own game, sure they dont have to cuz they can just have all the items to them but 1st step could be like reviving the youtube channel, going rich from 0, playing undercover so players cant donate| youtube channel with 100k+ channel will have huge impact on getting new downloads to the game | more updated guides by devs or players uploaded to official pw yt channel since it can gain more views | devs actively partaking with community, doesnt need to be just banning scammers/rule breakers all the time | since kukka streams sometimes but doesnt have much viewers as she streams from her personal twitch, simultaneously livestreaming on yt and twitch could bring in some numbers+ attraction to the game | live giveaways doesnt have to be big just small ones just to get people attracted, log into game! have alot more ideas but i think this should be doable even if devs dont have much time but 2hrs max live every 3 days can still be possible tho TLDR : reviving the social medias of the game by being active on all of them( yt,twitch,twitter{x} ) a new community manager (that knows how to play the game) hopefully be hired that can be the face of the community be active with community revive the game, bring some views, downloads, can be used as free advertisement of the game

I'm also a pixel world veteran and have been playing for almost 6 years. Since the pandemic, this game has become quiet and according to some news on UA-cam, this game will die, plus some administrators have deviated from their duties. All I can do now is report perpetrators who do bad things such as dropping games, casinos and duplicating. I did that to make this game last longer, even though it looks trivial

It's an amazing game but it definitely lacks alot of updates or new contents if the devs actually cared it would have been a huge game competing growtopia
i think there could be new features easily added but i think the devs arent really innovative and don't play the game. As someone who played for 6 years i could think of many new mechanics, qof changes, or just features in general that would be easy to imploment.
As much as I hated Growtopia, it keeps getting new stuff and features, if you just disregard the fact that the servers are terrible because of bots. Pixel Worlds is still my preferred game, I would hate for it to get reduced to a worse state than it currently is..

The game is obviously dying. Every new update came to it had nothing but grinding the same things for hours and no original updates are coming anymore. I myself hit 1M bc recently just by selling Armchairs in the pwe. I will stop playing when my stock of Armchairs (currently around 8x999) get finished. The only solution would be a new developer team, real dungeon crawling levels and a campaign mode.
About the features/updates they should rewrork or change in my opion are: [ 1 ] jets crafting should be changed , NO GEMS needed to craft jet and make them limited per account like clan items. This is beyound absurd that you have to complete jet race for GEMS spend thousands for gears (which aren't even guaranteed) and later again spend more gems on jets.... No wonders peps don't like it... [ 2 ] I'd love to see new EXTREME versions of already existing: netherworld and deep nether. For better players they get easier and easier with little to no profit. It'd be cool to have Deep Nether hard with it costing 5 blood scrolls , having more monsters but also new crystals giving like 30 gems per one (instead of old ones giving 10) and 50 nether embers, [ 3 ] Card battles should give gems for every won battle (maybe like 1k?) and bytes/new bet coin currency which could be exchanged for new limited items (You'd have 5 months to get the items for currency and after that they'd be gone) [ 4 ] Add new way of trading. Gems trades, it might sound strange but trading gems directly from your account would limit f/mgems scams and would be great implementation to the game. [ 5 ] Add bigger worlds costing more gems but having bigger dimensions [ 6 ] Actually choose good mods, not bcs of their status but read those DARN mod applications.... [ 7 ] Add some kind of compensation for being kicked out of clan. It really hurts when you help leader achieve lvl 10 clan and suddenly you're kicked for nothing because Leader decided to sell clan slots... It's just unfair I wrote a bit more than I was expecting to but hope you have same opinion on at least some of my ideas :D
You should move on to a new game for content. Pixel Worlds content is slowly draining out. I recommend TF2 for you or you could analyze games played by people who play PW.
All what i can say is that economy maybe soon will totally die looking at what's going on now in game, and trader profiters same as illegal traders can cry about it what to be honest making me fun looking how for example illegals are angry because "dupers destroying the game oh no we wont get profit this game will die it sucks", but game itself will be alive for a long long time because all game is not only the economy, it's the community.
PS: Also i am this type of player who don't need much updates and futures in game so no matter what i will be still playing Pixel Worlds to chill, meet other players, have fun as in "MMO Sandbox game", and also i can bet there is more this type of people who thinks like me which means that game can't even die.

I think you cannot really compare geometry dash to PW, since that game has infinite replay-ability and PW doesn't really have that.
