As an active drug user i can say that Coming down is probably one of the most relatable songs on the album for most people and myself included, when you are smoking, rolling, tripping etc you kind of start to forget everything and everyone around you, only being able to focus on what's happening around you in the moment and what feels right/good to do, probably why he said "when i'm faded i forget what u mean to me". But when the effects start to wear off you start to think about every choice you made during that specific period where you were rolling (most of them not being necessarily good), which also leads to the so called "come down depression" so you are forced to re-dose again in order to block out those feelings. How i see it is he used the drugs as a mean to forget about his feelings for the girl, but everytime he would get off of them it would all hit him twice as hard, so he is forced to repeat everything all over again to try and cancel everything out. Amazing song and amazing reaction ❤
Please, babe, Don’t forget react to “The Knowing” and “Twenty Eight” next weekend, remember that if you’re reacting to “Trilogy” the compilation of the three mix tapes, you won’t miss any song
I love the second part of Loft Music, I could listen to a whole song where he's just only singing "oh woah" the whole song. To bad the audio wasn't the greatest here 💀 idk if it was the lyric video that had low quality or if it was an editing issue in this video though.
@@MommaTaunT 🤣🤣🤣 I know age is just a number but I’m 60! I’m OLD…and proud of it. I’ve got a younger heart and eclectic tastes in music! 😊. I’m a recent subscriber. Love your channel. You have a wonderful week! 😊❤️
@@hermithollow2024 I do not think 60 is old but I get what you mean. And so nice of you to sub to my channel and I see we do have a lot of genres in common 😉
@@MommaTaunT I see that. On the weekend coming down, a few words I don’t like like the “N” word, but I know why black people sometimes do. The let’s say “romantic” type things at times bother me, but the genre I love. Watching the 2nd video now! 😊
@MamaTaunT I’m very selective. I do like the upbeat one too. Again words! But yes. I’m going to look thru The Weekend and choose some I like better! I lean mostly toward jazz. I’m not much of a country gal, but my GOODNESS Home Free an Acapella group is fantastic! Have you reacted to any of their’s? I will look. And I’m going to send you several links. We fans are called Hime Fries! It’s an incredible rabbit hole!!!😊😊
You might appreciate Deep Purple and their masterpiece, Child in Time (live 1970). Ian Gillan’s vocals are insanely beautiful and anguished in this song. The musicianship is absolutely top tier. Fun fact, as Deep Purple was touring in 1970, Andrew Lloyd-Weber chose Gillan as the titular role in Jesus Christ Superstar and Gillan complete the entire album in 24 hours.
I’m just waiting for my fav song of all time….Twenty Eight should react to the music video! It speaks VOLUMES! I’m loving all of The Weeknd’s reactions I hope you finish trilogy and the rest of his work….XOTWOD!
Luckily, other than women, he has had a group of friends/producers/etc. who have been there since the beginning, so he does have people around him he trusts and have his back. Yes, I know, as other people have said, the audio on the lyric video for Loft Music sucked. That was my bad. I listened to every lyric video for all the songs and I must have just put the wrong one on the playlist. Sorry! You can listen to the audio on your own. The last two are MVs so there shouldn’t be anymore issues with that. There are surprisingly very few lyric videos for HOB and I wanted you to hear the original, not the one off Trilogy. The songs on HOB, all his music really, are just as much about the feeling he is conveying through the music as the lyrics themselves. Thank you, as always for these 🖤 Sorry I missed them until today! (Literally fill the void 😂 Sorry, I couldn’t help it)
Do some frank ocean for a change ! People say frank ocean is the angel and the weeknd the devil lol. I’d say start with frank oceans album called channel orange. If you do his album in the same format with lyrics it would be so lovely 😊
A bit later than normal but I had a lot to say this time 😉. Let me know what your take is on the two songs .
Coming down is such a masterpiece.
I always thought he was saying “play with keys all day” as in kilos of cocaine. I had no idea about that game.
Well , this old momma has given an different take on it . 😉
I can't wait for the next song 😁 it's one of my favorites!

It was exactly like I heard it on my headphone
That was my bad. There wasn’t a lot to choose from. I thought I put the better one in the playlist.
@@SparkimusPrime aw, no worries. I just wasn’t sure if it was the video or maybe an editing accident.
Editing accident ?? I am a master edit editor 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@MommaTaunT oops 😳😳😳😳
nice reaction as always but you can really date that loft music lyrics video from the audio quality lol
are you gonna do the whole TRILOGY album?
cause that would be SiCK
I will
OHHH this is my one of fave genres!!!!! And I’m an OLD lady!!! 😂
