the pain of Rang & Yeon losing each other all over again overshadowed my ability to enjoy Yeon & Jiah's happily ever after. i never expected the finale to hurt this bad

Rang was my favourite character. He was the most human of them all. He got angry, jealous, sad, possessive and happy. He just loved his brother too much. I never thought i would love his character this much when i started the drama. I used to hate him at the beginning.

😭😭😭 Rang never hated his brother really. He was just so caught up in being abandoned. He wanted no attachment to anyone or anything. It was how he kept himself safe from hurt and pain. I really wanted him to live a life of love. He found our the truth to late.
I wish Rang didn't die because he deserves to spend the rest of his lifetime with his brother.

Rang and yeon was the reason why I keept watching, I felt their story overshadow the love story of Jiah and yeon😭
the way Rang died is so cruel. How could they do this to him. I swear this drama, Scarlet Heart and War of the Son are the only kdrama that can make me cry soooooo much in my 8 years of being a kdrama addict(lol).
Rang is my favorite character in the drama. He is so relatable and his story is so sad. He only wanted to be loved by the people he love. He only wants family but he died at the end. Director-nim whyyyyyy
Even though I really like the togetherness of Lee Rang and Lee Yeon, a touching brotherhood 😭❤
What hurt me so deeply till now is Rang died at the end of S1. Rang WAS my favorite in Tale of The Nine Tailed forever. Now that Tale of The Nine Tailed 1938 is here, i only have the most important question is that "WILL THEY BE ABLE TO BRING LEE RANG BACK?!"...S2 is still ongoing and I'm scared and worried so damn much that smtg will happen to Lee Rang and Yeo Hee.. moreover there will be S3 as well.. Please be happy Lee Rang 😭❤️
Didn't know you watched this show. It was so good. I was so happy for Yeon and Ji-Ah, but so so sad for Rang. Such a good finale though.

Just seeing him now, I'm not even familiar with BOF, but looking at all his masterpieces since 2006, can't help but admire him deeply. Thanks to Tale of the Nine Tailed, I came to see him. Just wanted to see LDW 'though but #kimbum captured my heart. Now, I can't help but fall for this perfect man...I LOVE YOU KIM BUM 😘❤❤❤🥰
i will forever think the ending is not a happy one because truthfully the main reason i was still watching was for the brothers (especially lee rang) and no amount of jia-yeon happy time can erase the pain of rang's death :(

There's just so much regret in the fact that they had barely starting rebuilding their bond when they were taken away from each other once again. I used to think Klaus & Elijah from TO were the most tragic fictional brothers I've watched, but Yeon & Rang proved me wrong. It's a different kind of pain for one to be alive while the other is gone
I watched this in two days (finished yesterday) and I cried ALL THE TIME while watching episodes 15 and 16. Everything was just way too emotional for me :D and Rang?... Loved him from the start and the fact that he gave his life and amazing new family for saving his 'annoying brother' is just.... ..HE DESERVED MORE :DDD he deserved to get love from his family and to get some true friends FROM THE START not the last episode xdd makes me so sad, but I think we all knew that everything couldn't end perfectly

oh my, this is a perfect tribute to such a sweet bond that developed between these two brothers. The music you chose really had me in the feels, the way you kept building up the scenes with the music, gosh I am a WRECK, I didn't even realize 5 minutes went by. I hope they become close in the future and are brothers once again :')

To be honest, I watched this drama after knowing that the main lead couple will be together at the end. So I assumed, that the end would be a happy one. But after starting the drama I cam to now that Lee Rng will sacrifice himself dor his brother. And then I knoew, that their bromance was the strongest bond and that the end IS A DAMN SAD ONE; I REALLY REALLY HATE THE END TT
(I know this is impossible but I still hope that there will be a second season just so we can enjoy Lee Rang and Lee Yeon's brotherhood even more. But most importantly, in the second season he has to be alive, and that's more than enough for me ;-;)
Ok, I want to die now. This is beautiful! My heart cries for Rang. In the past few weeks I found my new obssession- kdramas. I have watched King: Eternal Monarch (Thank God for that sort of happy ending), Hotel Del Luna (Not gonna lie I want to cry even now) and yesterday I fninished Tale of the nine-taled (Why, Rang, why?) Today I started Mystic pop-up bar but I am not really feeling the vibe like from the previous shows. Would you recommend anything fantasy+romance+drama+lot of crying obviously :D? I really don't want to miss anything good, because now I know that I need this in my llife :D

I got bored of the drama and didn't finish it but this brought me to tears, i really liked Rang we could see that he was a sweet boy with no other choices but to bad but like Yeon said he did good too and even if i didn't finish the show i know it's better for him to go like this instead of being killed because of all the life he took in his life. He was a sad boy who feared to be left alone but he found family and people to love enough for a sacrifice and maybe one day they'll be reunites all together
