Your posts have been a Godsend. Dealing with my daughters '12 focus has been frustrating to say the least. I came across your videos and replaced both of the actuators and cleaned up the grounds. The car is running great. The only issue is now it shows 0 codes DTC. Now what? No hair left to pull out.

@SV11408 hi, glad the videos helped. With no codes present, if you're still having shift issues I would do clutch fork tests

In my case the ground that you mentioned was loose, I noticed a few sparks, do you think that could be the tcm? I still have a p0805 reverse is fine though.

Hello Ben thank you for your help as always in these amazing videos.
just one question, I did forks job on my 2012 focus 1.6 and here in Egypt the dealership says clutch touch point is not necessary after forks only after clutch replacement
the car runs ok ever since so does that means it is not necessary as they said?

@ahmedalgendy0091 yeah, it's not necessary but still a good thing to do. But if it's shifting well then it's fine

      @@BigBensCarsAndCycles thanks man
Also forgot to tell you, I found couple of videos that pierced through clutch casing near forks and clutch pack and resealed those holes with bolts
I do use them every like 10k miles to clean up clutch dust with compressed air first then brake cleaner then air to make sure no liquids remain there you will be amazed by the quantity of dust that gets out every time
Hope you give it a go though

Hi Ben. Have a question I haven't seen. My 2013 focus received a new TCM but still was acting up. I reset the transmission like I had done before but this time Park dissappeared. Tried resetting again, disconnected the battery, everything I could think of. Still no Park. Glad the park brake works good. Any thoughts?

@shawncoleman9476 park disappeared off the cluster but the other gears appear?

@brianfreeman9453 yeah, replace both actuators with new oem ones. Assuming you have the codes in the video

I did a lot a research and testing and mine is 100% the TCM. Do I need to pull my transmission to have the replaced? If so, I'll just take it into a mechanic since I don't have the required supplies to pull it
