It's not any struggle , this team is very very inexperienced and many players are playing first time is Australia! Things will improve ,but yes , they need to play according to situation ! People are playing twenty twenty cricket shots and giving their wickets ! How this can be justified ? You get minimum 90 overs in a day and even if you make 90× 3 = 270 runs in a day and play at least 120 overs , your score become 360 ,which is a safe test match first inning score ! The real magic happens in second inning . In last test ,Australia got lead of more than 100 runs ,if that lead would have been on your side ,you have to just make 250 runs in 100 overs instead of 350 runs in 100 overs ! Their is psychological pressure in second inning and hence you have to first ensure good start of at least 50-70 runs without wicket . Even those many runs enhance team confidence . Failing to which pressure builts and wickets keep falling . In last ten overs ,if you are going to draw that match ,you can simply play it safe ! This is nothing but playing according to situation and not playing your natural game. Even great players restricted their temptations when team was needed their controlled inning ! So ,coach is absolutely right ! Support him to win the last encounter of series and first encounter of the year ! 🇮🇳

In last test ,Australia got lead of more than 100 runs ,if that lead would have been on your side ,you have to just make 250 runs in 100 overs instead of 350 runs in 100 overs !
Their is psychological pressure in second inning and hence you have to first ensure good start of at least 50-70 runs without wicket . Even those many runs enhance team confidence . Failing to which pressure builts and wickets keep falling . In last ten overs ,if you are going to draw that match ,you can simply play it safe ! This is nothing but playing according to situation and not playing your natural game. Even great players restricted their temptations when team was needed their controlled inning !
So ,coach is absolutely right ! Support him to win the last encounter of series and first encounter of the year ! 🇮🇳
