One thing nice about the trains in this video are 1970's/1980's trains that appear to have very typical freight cars of those times. One has a lot of typical auto parts boxcars etc. The Western Pacific train often handed off complete trains to the D&RGW in Utah, very much like in the trains in this video. The caboose at 9:41 is a correct Rio Grande caboose - brass caboose from Overland which represents the shop built D&RGW caboose in the black radio equipped 2 stripe version. I have one custom painted just like it. The WP train headed by the orange nose GP40-2's looks like it is headed with auto parts boxcars but amusingly has a Rio Grande baby hi-cube appliance boxcar mixed in. Still, nice to see 70's era trains running from the northern California where I grew up as a teen in the 70's.
