Hi guys my name is Dele Joshua based in UK. I want to thank you guys for inspiring me I'm 54 I've lived in uk 4 35 yrs. Because of your videos I've gone back to university to study for an MBA in Agribusiness. I don' t plan to work 4 anybody after my qualification I'm coming straight back to Mother Africa. Agriculture will be my retirement plan. Once again thank you guys and home to meet you very very soon.
I guess you'll be coming to Nigeria when you decide to return. I stay in Jos-central Nigeria, and I've started with 3 female goats. It'll be good to share idea when you return. Best wishes in your academic pursuit.
@@ethicalproperties I understand your fears and honestly they are genuine. I however dare to say most of the news an a bit overated. In Jos we are free and I'm establishing my farm here. I just ordered super Napier cuttings from Kano and will be planting them today. Maybe I could share progress report if you're interested. Cheers
Amir is a great guy. I love his passion and zeal. He sold me a boer buck but he keeps following up on it's performance. He has become a great friend instead of just a service provider.
I am inspired Am a lover of goat farming I tried to set up something before ... Am in the diaspora And at one time when I went back I found that all except 2 very thin goats I want to do it again The experience was steep and painful school fees For a year I felt pain But now am ready to try again This video is an inspiration
This has really inspired me, have been telling my friends l want to rear goats and they keep teasing me. Now l can see the light and my vision is renewed 😅! Keep it up 💪
love from zimbabwe, im also starting & have 0 knowledge , 1 thing i highlighted in this video is when the guy said start with local goats and learn from there, at least my losses will be less if i happen to have them.
Quite commendable, i live in Central Nigeria and i started with 3 females a mixture of kalahari and African dwarf goat. I've 2 acre dedicated for a farm house. The house is almost finished and I'm dedicating a quarter of an acre for grass farming. I never considered a raised bed farming but now its what I think i need to do. Thanks for freely sharing your thoughts, ideas and experience, may you prosper beyond your expectations. We are watching out for more videos. Blessings!
@@sunnywize It's a hardy well-built South African fast growing goat that can get up to almost 75kg as compared to native goats found here in Nigeria that will maximally reach 30kg.

Thank you so much for all the information. I was eagerly waiting for this young man to talk about different types of grass[pasture] and how to plant, harvest and how to use it to make hay or silage
Goats don't eat grass except as a last resort! Goats are browsers! He would have been better off planting fodder crops and brushes such as Hedge Lucerne (Desmanthus), Pumpkin leaves, Mulberry, Moringa. You can also grow Napier grass for mass and fibre.
Uganda gets rain throughout, Kenya rain here in Kenya is a big issue unless you dig your own borehole, with community and rain ,water is very unreliable and you can't keep these no's of goats .
Transnzoia we get rain throughout the year. Water is never the issue. In Kenya unless you talking about Eastern and Nortn eastern regions and maybe coastal regions
I started rearing goats for food using my chicken pen. I had to close the chicken breeding due to theft by workers. Today, I have 29 goats. I have learnt a lot today.
50 goats in 1 acre (4046.85 m3), that is really an impressive use of land... kudos What is the maximum number that can fit 1 acre without buying extra feed?
@@gerrytushh Not sure what you are on about. You can establish the cost by just looking at the video? You are living in another world and you are the one in the couch.🤣🤣
@@geraldkisongoch4102 well, you have a good point 😏. I happen to come from the same region the video was taken. A few kilometers in fact. So I know what everything on the farm in the video costs in Uganda shillings 😆😆
Wonderful, Tina and your partner you are always a blessing 🙏🏽, with this I feel ready to start with my 2 acres in Kenya . Thanks and congratulations to the gentleman, very educative❤❤❤
Thanks Value farm, quite informative for biggers, i feel encouraged, he said he sells to Kenya, can he share where specifically does he sell in Kenya, am interested in breeds, thanks again
Id love to do this. Im from uk and my wife is from Angola. I d love to take her home to Africa and set up a farm and make a profit and raise my family there .
Why not thinking of buying from your neighbor's South Africa, you would save some $$ on transport costs and logistics...Uganda is very far from Zim and will probably be more expensive. All the Boer goats you see up North originates from South Africa. Am in Tz and here we call them the South African goats!
Hello is it true that you need to WAIT many, many years before you can start working on your land (min. 5 acres) in Uganda because some Uganda land offices take too much time before delivering the named title because the former owner can always decide NOT to sell and harvest all your work
