Aside from all the "scary" jokes, Hobi is actually really patient with the members. It's his job as a dance leader to clean the choreography, check formations, timing, etc.
Jin even said that he prefers J-Hope to teach him because he is not only patient with him, but very detailed. You can tell that Hobi is VERY RESPECTED by his members. He is like a leader but for their choreography. Go main dancer and dance leader Jung Hoseok!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Hoseokie has said in interviews that Mr Son their choreographer had some heart to hearts with him after debut when he was coming to terms with being the best dancer but the company wanting the maknaes to be center. This boy loves dance sooo much! He said Mr Son helped him grow past the pain of it and settle into being the leader instead. Hobi said he had to come to terms and sacrifice center a lot and help at practice to make the others better centers, instead of himself. It’s sad and it’s very noble of him to do that for the team.
This is so sad. I didn’t know this. But again, I guess they know that if J Hope was centered, all eyes would always be on him and he would out do the other members like every other time when they let him be centered. Even when he’s to the side, my eyes are always drawn naturally to him even when I’m trying to focus on another member.
@@kacevang7464 yes he has said it in interviews that he had a hard time w it at first. That’s what happens at center, you get more attention, which is why Jungkook and jimin get more fan attention and not Jhope who dances just as well. Idk it’s nice that he dances well away from center and can catch ppls attention, but I can imagine telling a teenager jhope that he is the best but not good enough to be center probably was difficult for him.

But thats why its called Team Work, as a Dancer he wouldve gotten it better than anyone. And in competitions with a crue, even if you would "technically" be the best, that doesnt mean its an automatic first row/lead placement, Because its a performance first and there are more aspects to consider than who is best at their execution. And even so, he is not the kind of person who would choose to shine over others.. And those who have followed BTS for a long time, knows that without Jhope, the other members wouldve not come this far, in terms of improving their dancing. He has that kind of place in the Team that No One else can replace.
I think it kinda makes sense. I actually found in other groups like svt, Izone, stray kids, etc, their best dancers like Hoshi, Chaeyeon, Lee know not rly the center of choreography, it's always other members with more visuals and emotional expressions coming in to lead the dance. I guess cuz they are forming an idol group not a dance crew, an idol group is made of not only dancing but also singing and rapping. But yeah, let's keep supporting hobi, he is a great dance teacher and performer~~~=))
I just wish he had more center dance moments, he's an amazing teacher of course, but seeing some more Hobi focus would be amazing, he deserves all the praise and attention in the world!! I really hope this next cb he gets to really shine 😊❤️

Me tooooo. In their older songs he dances in the centre so often and it's so AMAZING. Like the energy just changes when he's in the centre, and his dance skills come into focus. Remember "I need you"? It's actually kinda messed up that BigHit used him like that to get popular and just don't give him the centre time that he deserves any more.

Hobi is amazing. Yes, he’s the main dancer but he’s seriously underrated in K-POP. He’s not just a dancer, he’s a choreographer and teacher. He’s going to do big things. Bigger than he’s already done.

what did he choreograph? what songs?
jennie suga and rm he’s worked with Son Sungdeuk since before debut. He has a huge influence and input into their dances. One of my favorites is Spring Day. He’s also been the best teacher they have. He works so hard with the other members to make sure they have it down. He’s also worked on some TxT choreo.

one of the best ways their teamwork is showcased in this video is that Hoseok is straightforward and respectful and the members accept notes quickly without drama. there is no big ego clash. just 7 people working efficiently and respectfully to put on the best performances for their fans.

I like all the guys for diffrent reasons, and I find this one being by far a the best dancer in the group, very good at his rhyming and his wardrobe is always dope...his calm and very loving ...great addition to the group now I can see why his leadership shows.

It must be hard for Namjoon and Jin as they are non dancers, but I love the way J-hope guides them and helps them.
It must be really hard to do all this especially with non dancers in the group (P.S :- Guys no hate to RM and Jin) but he handles it very well.
The one good thing about the pandemic is that people are staying home and watching Bangtan videos more closely. Hoseok is such an incredible dancer. Anybody who disagrees hasn't watched TV & Concert performances closely enough. The focus videos and all the Hope On The Street content on vlive and UA-cam are gold. This man is well respected in the industry for a reason. He is an important leader on and off stage. Mad props to our Dance Leader who helps make sure the whole team looks incredible on stage or in mvs. Hoseok 🤩 💜💜💜

I know they used to joke around that he had a horse face, I thought his stylists were part of the issue along with his age. Now his growth is evening out his face and his stylists are doing better. Different haircuts can help a lot, personally I think getting him away from a bowl type cut helps a lot.
