If you look close these are the White 9720 combines. I remember when massy bought out white and just put massy on the side. These machines were big in there time but just had no market
i like poppin wheelies in those things :)
They were only made in 1987 They are the same series as the 8570 but larger. You proably will never see one on a dealer lot they only made 100 8590s twenty two years ago, there arent many left out there.
They have 640 cid turbocharged 248 hp Perkins V8 s As for power they are adaquite but not overpowered, in tough conditions they could use more hp.
we have one of these but it has an 8.3l 250hp cummins in it.
Hello, do you still have your 8590's? I am running one shelling corn and cutting soybeans in PA this fall. It came from a farm MD. It's in ok condition with 2500 hours. Do you know of any still in operation? Thanks.
yes I am still running mine. actually writing this from the cab of one now. picking corn in North Dakota.

Wow, that's cool. How many hours do you have on them by now? And do you still use them for custom work? I was using mine today custom cutting soybeans. It is serial number 38.

They have around 4000 hrs on em. and yes I do run one 8590 on the custom run along with a 670 Challenger.
Are u still running these combines?
@hellandharvester we put the cummins motor in it dad hated the perkins
we had it put in a few years back. id send u picks but we just traded it off for an r72 gleaner 2000 model.
Are you sure it is a 8590 not a 8570 you have? I have seen one 8590 with a 8.3 but it was installed be the owner not factory. If it is a 8590 you have with a factory 8.3 I would love more info and maybe some pics. Thankyou.
Sort of Western Combine?
