- In this video I share a high-level overview of my approach to investing.
The Roaring Kitty channel revolves around educational live streams where I share my daily routine of tracking stocks and performing investment research.
My investment style involves continually tracking thousands of stocks using a variety of widely available tools. When opportunity strikes - as it occasionally does in markets comprised of biased humans - I’m prepared to pounce and capitalize on the situation. I'm probably best classified as a fundamentals-focused deep value investor, though I find I'm increasingly leaning on technical analysis for screening, timing, and tracking stocks. In the years ahead I look forward to honing my portfolio management approach by acquiring bolt-on skillsets and further developing my approach to risk management.
Some of the tools I use: Google Chrome, Chrome extensions & search engines, Google Sheets / Google Apps Script / StackOverflow, StockCharts, insider buying via OpenInsider, stock ownership via WhaleWisdom, SEC filings via sec.gov, SeekingAlpha, Twitter, Quandl / Sharadar, and bond prices via FINRA.

@@papafranku6725 I don't think he did, he posted updates on reddit after it all blew up and if he lied, he would be legally liable in court for manipulating the market by declaring fake returns on a stock to create volume. You can see in his videos that he knows what he is doing, also listen closely to how many times he uses euphemisms that basically state that he isn'a a financial advisor. I could list loads of financial gurus on youtube who would use DFV's knowledge to sell an overpriced course promising 50-100% ROI with "revolutionary strategies".

Haha yeah I watched his other video where he did deep security analysis on GME. He's been eyeing this stock for a long time and has developed a very thorough thesis. Now he's sitting on like what $40M?? He totally deserves it and yea my new trading guru too. There's so much we can learn from him if we listen to when he does his analysis in the videos/stream.

he's not riding the short squeeze, he's holding it for 24 months because his due diligence has determined that it has deep value
@@bullshark3000 incorrect. DFV is very savvy and understands exactly what’s going on. He has also called it. He will likely exit the position when he feels the squeeze is over.
Also has solid brass ones not to cash out at 45m.

I am a value investor. I yolo TSLA call options with no time left whenever I see a red candle and cash out on the next green candle. Then when I see Michael Burry is short I yolo puts options on green candles cashing out on red ones.

I really enjoy your style. The mix of both value and fundamentals is where I see myself evolving to. “Distressed assets” is what I consider “deep value” and they are something that I greatly enjoy purchasing.
I just found out this dude after the whole GME thing. Well, shame on me I didn't find him earlier because he provides such great value content, real data, deep analysis, and genuine value investing insight. Rare stuff these days on YT.

You have changed my life in every way. I actually trust, I lost all trust as my ex husband stole 1.5 million and then put another 1.5 million on me in life insurance. He is dead at 44 from cancer, thank you. I have seen people using my ignorance to swindle what little money I had left.
