The stereotypical just makes me sad all the time. On the surfaces, it’s an amazing family, together forever, always nice to each other, got all kinds of friends,has no trauma, no need to worry about health or mental, and physical problems, nor death...isn’t that just the perfect life, the perfect family we all wanted? A pair of amazing parents that would always love you no matter what, siblings that will always be there for you, friends that you can relay on, tons of money......but if you look deeper, they are just a family who suffered enough, through death and trauma, pain, loss of friends and family members, broken hearts and all kinds of suffering. Immortality might sound exciting, awesome, and cool, but really, when you wanted to leave, it just won’t happen. And you’re just stuck here, with your family and friends, and when you’re in pain, nothing can relieve your pain, misery and all those, it’s just sad. And for me, I think it’s really sarcastic how they live such a great life, great parents, siblings, friends... and maybe they had a better life than their past selves, but they ‘earned’ it from their suffering. Just more suffering. It might not look like it, as they all get along, happy, and kind to each other. But one fight can lead to the end, one argument, and they’ll break. It’s just a flawless family in the surface, but deep below it’s a family full of suffering and pain. This is the reason why I really don’t want to become an Afton. If you do, be yourself, be happy and do what you want. But I think you should be happy and grateful of what you have right now, after all, one life, hardcore is what makes life exciting, precious and unknown!
