Ok I sold some stocks and it says the funds are withdrawable. I attempted to transfer to bank and got hit with a $9 reversal fee. Am I supposed to wait x amout of days before I can put it back In bank?
I was told that it’s best to buy TQQ & “ETF” That it has more momentum . Do you have any videos for beginners?!?! I saw a person on tik tok invested $5 and now he has $2k how can that even happen ?
So wait what you buy a share/stock and depending on the company because it is always fluctuating they pay you back a percentage of that share/stock and over time it pays itself of depending on the fluctuating of the company then eventually you will be in profits if everything goes right?
Do you lose anything from placing a limit? So for example if you had set it at $120, but it never gets there, do you lose that money or does it just not take anything out since the limit you had placed had not been reached?

What order type would you recommend for someone who is willing to hold a share for many years ?? I am not thinking of selling any stock just shareholding for years to come . Which order type is best for that ?
So just to make sure I make sense because I’m still confused on SELLING. For example let’s say I put in $50, I see that stock up $20 but came back down to where I started, $50. Do i sell at $50 or nothing to keep what I at least put in? I know I’m stupid you can go ahead and say it lol
It’s a gamble you could either hold and wait for the stock to either rise increasing your share or it could drop decreasing the value of your share the choice is up to you to hold or sell and it all depends on how you think the stock is going to do it could drop them rise significantly it could rise and drop again it’s all just a game that you have to determine how you want to play
So quick question...every month you have to put in the company you are investing in? And like for how much? Is it the same amount you bought it for or?
Once you sell a stock how long does it take for the funds to be available to make a cash withdrawal. Another question. So I bought a stock at 58.00$ it now is trading at 110$ if I sell will I get 110$ that I can withdrawal for cash? Thank you!

Do you have to buy the stock at the listed price ?
How do you know what stocks are better to buy? And when is a good moment to buy it?
It's simple. Just buy companies that have been around for a while and buy them when the market crashes or corrects itself.
There's a lot more to it, but generally buy low and sell high

Or correct s itself?

Dividends are automatically added to your balance. What questions do you have about voting?
We just signed up, waiting for our money to transfer. If we use our buying power listed before the bank deposit goes through, is there interest on that like margins?
Nope. It’s a free service :)
Random question. If you say trade and only hold a stock briefly and sell it, do you still get the Dividends? Or would you need to hold it for a year?
You just need to hold it until the company issues a dividend. Look them up online and you can see the history.
Most companies pay a dividend 4 times per year, so keep that in mind

Can you set an amount to sell at? Like if I buy a share for $10 can I set it to sell when it hits $20?
Yes you can. Just set a limit order
This is foreign to me. I've watched several videos and didn't learn anything. Lol! But you explain it so well ! Thank you! Subbed!
Thank you. That means a lot ;)
What order type would you recommend for someone who is willing to hold a share for many years ?? I am not thinking of selling any stock just shareholding for years to come . Which order type is best for that ?
I'm confused on the buy high/low, sell high/low. So do you buy high and sell low or the other way around?
Buy low sell high
@@HonestFinance alrighty, thanks lots!
Andres Rojas not trying to be a dick but if your just now understanding that you probably should’ve be investing right now lol
I'm excited to get started, was feeling super intimidated

loco292_YT how are the stocks going for you? Is there money you made so far?
Any tips for a 17 yr old looking to gain more knowledge before i head into the market once im 18 this august
Start by reading “The Intelligent Investor”. There’s also lots of UA-cam content to learn from as well
Honest Finance that book is outdated. There are newer books with more relevant info.
So just to make sure I make sense because I’m still confused on SELLING. For example let’s say I put in $50, I see that stock up $20 but came back down to where I started, $50. Do i sell at $50 or nothing to keep what I at least put in? I know I’m stupid you can go ahead and say it lol
I’d like to know this too
It’s a gamble you could either hold and wait for the stock to either rise increasing your share or it could drop decreasing the value of your share the choice is up to you to hold or sell and it all depends on how you think the stock is going to do it could drop them rise significantly it could rise and drop again it’s all just a game that you have to determine how you want to play
How long does it takes to deposit from your robinhood to your bank account?
Usually a few business days
So quick question...every month you have to put in the company you are investing in? And like for how much? Is it the same amount you bought it for or?
You don’t have to invest every month. If you do, it’ll be for whatever the current price is
"Thats just how everything is right now" That has changed very quickly in the past month lol
Yes it has
Would you recommend investing on times like this? Never have invested but I am interested. This tutorial might help me make some extra money.
How do u get the money when u sale ?
It goes into your cash account and then you can transfer to your bank
My first free share was Berkshire Hathaway for $227 it’s say I have to wait 3 trading days what does that mean?
Congrats!! You just need to wait 3 trading days before you can sell it
What website can I use to buy stocks? Canadian??
Once you sell a stock how long does it take for the funds to be available to make a cash withdrawal.
Another question. So I bought a stock at 58.00$ it now is trading at 110$ if I sell will I get 110$ that I can withdrawal for cash?
Thank you!
It takes two trading days to settle before you can withdraw. And yes you’ll have $110 if you sell it for that much
@@HonestFinance what are your thoughts on ETC. I SEE ITS DROPPING NOW. 😬
Your call. I think it’s too high, but maybe it’ll keep going up
Enjoy the Robinhood tutorial. I hope it helps.
And here's a playlist to watch more Robinhood videos: bit.ly/RobHood_Playlist
Honest Finance yes thanks for the vid!
Thanks for the comment . I’m glad you can see cuz that was a concern of mine along w the different microphone
Honest Finance it was very well made, good overview, looking forward to more content like this
friends don't let friends own sprint stock
Honest Finance this video is awesome! I really like how you can see your phone in real time. Yah, I’ve never gotten a free stock that’s more than 5 bucks haha
Finally, someone who know what he is talking about,I have made a few investments in individual companies, There are so many stocks going to rocket in the long run... right now safe to invest in an ETF that tracks the S&P500 and ride it out. I put $140k into some growth stocks with a Financial advisor/broker handling my portfolio... some of my picks are, NVR, LISP.SW, SEB , VOO,DOWJ, BRK-A, AAPL,IVV, NYSE, NASDAQ, TSLA, I've gotten 58% return so far this year , I'll see where it goes...fingers crossed😄
that's quite impressive, you surely made a good bit of money. I myself invested in warren's BRK-A stock quite pricy but totally worth it 😁
nice picks..you've got great stocks , just started a few weeks back , I'm going for long term. i'm still trying to wrap my head around it , can I get a link through to your F.A ?
@@morindavis7756 yes, there's that too. goodluck morin!
@@stanleyfujiwara1394 thanks, yes...i can't actually leave her details on here, you could do that yourself..her name is Lucy Maria koss she's one I work with.. look her name up you would see all you need to know..you could leave her a message on her webpage
im sorry 140k as in 140,000??? You already rich if you are not afraid to lose that amount of money.
The app is downloading now. And im a beginner so far what ive read is that. This app is like a bank account. I select the amount that i want to have for example 1k. And i buy the stocks that i want and when im out of balance robinhood will say. Ohh time to put more money.
So when I invested and I have 1 share at low price should I buy more at low and then sell my shares when they are higher? When I invest if it goes down I’m losing what I invested right? Do I have to put more money in or just sell it?
It’s up to you and your goals. Usually buy low, sell high is the simple strategy, but you’ll probably need to keep invested for a long time
Great video!!! The one VERY important item that I did not see or hear being mentioned is whether the stocks/trades are/were held in personal or street name.....this is a BIG deal!!!!
In addition....you did not mention anything about a "DRIP(s)".....for most people....this IS the simplest & easiest way to buy stock(s)!!!!! I am currently in 10 drips......every month I auto invest in 10 stocks......also helps with dollar cost averaging!!!!!
I am 15 and I am now gaining knowledge about how to buy n sell shares so that I can use it in the future
That’s so great that you’re starting young and learning
Same here💰🧠
