Thanks again for that nice flight shared. What is the minimum altitude for an H125 over a clear ground on which there will be no ground effect? Look today's video short sling(maybe 15m?) and I saw you giving lots of corrections on the cyclic. Just wonder if it was due to the ground effect.
I think around 6-7 meters there is no longer much groundeffect, especially over grass. its not really noticable if you are over 4 meters. the sling here is 21m. the cyclic movement is just bad flying:) it might have been windy but i dont think it was
Hey, hope you well, just out of curiosity what helmet are you using, it looks like a Bose controller you have there but just wondering if you have adapted something yourself or is it an off the shelf unit, I have a helmet I was thinking of ripping the guts out of to accommodate my Bose A20’s as there is potentially room in the helmet to use my headset under the helmet without having to breakdown the headset so I could use either way with no bother. 🤔 Thanks Charlie
I use MSA LH050. It has A20's in the helmet bought from a local dealer here. I'm pretty sure there are several dealers who offer A20 mods for MSA helmets
For summer i use low hiking shoes. For colder and wetter times I use ankel height hiking shoes. Basically waterproof and something that gives you nice movement on the pedals. For gloves i use thin, non slippery palm ones. And preferably something you can operate touch screens with.
