Using that, we found the correct/wrong/unanswered data for each question! This will give you an idea of where aspirants stand. Imagine being a 2025 aspirant and being able to solve a question which only 3 out of every 10 aspirants solved in 2024's actual exam! What a confidence booster!
Thanks a lot Kanishk bhaiya ,Bhavesh bhaiya and Vani di for the hard work you have put in!! I gave IPMAT this year and didn't realize that I have got these easy questions wrong, though I am a non maths student but could have easily solved them but couldn't, due to lack of confidence. Such videos bring back the confidence I lost, thanks again! I am taking a drop this year, and I hope to clear it this time, and it is very clear now whom I need to follow.... Please bring videos on VARC and LR too..
Thanks Kanishk and bhavesh bhaiya for the video. I have attempted this year ipmat but gotten easy questions wrong because of the time pressure. Also pls upload more video like this for varc section also 🙏
VA videos are in the pipeline. One strategy that Vani came up with was making 3 buckets in your rough sheet. Put easy/familiar questions in bucket 1, familiar/medium/time-taking questions in bucket 2, "extremely time taking but maybe doable" in bucket 3. Now, you'll have a roadmap of the questions that you need to attempt, and it organises your question picking. Like this, if you do 4-5 questions in the first 20 minutes, you will gain a lot of confidence, and your tension will reduce!
@@AfterBoards But how do u know that a question is easy , maybe all it requires is a bit of thinking and a que that seems long turns out to be 2 step ans...

Good question! A triangle with sides 4,5,6 is the same as 5,4,6. You are just rotating the triangle! There is no difference. That is why we used the [a ≤ b ≤ c] condition, it makes sure that we don't stumble upon a duplicated value.
I solved most of these questions and converted Indore. It is a game of really attempting the right questions. To all future aspirants, these videos from AfterBoards are really really worth it. Please do not ignore them.

Assume 4% SI on (x), then the answer will be x = 1000. Assume 3% SI on (x), then the answer will be x = 3000. Depending on the assumption, the value of x will change. Regardless, the answer will be right at the end of the day!
This video is a 10/10 gem, it boosted my confidence and seeing this god solve these questions inspires me to be like him (glazing 24x7) It’s not just about making good videos, I genuinely think Afterboards is the only company that really doesn’t feel like a bunch of money hungry capitalistic goons but real genuine selfless people who really want to see you succeed. 20,748 students got a positive mark in all three sections. 824 students cleared the cutoff, and appear for the interview. 65% weightage to the exam, 35% weightage to the interview. Then, final selections are done.
Bhaiya I have passed 12th in 2023.I have checked age criteria and I am eligible for IPMAT and JIPMAT.But I dropped my both years so what difficulties may I face after qualifying cut-off.
You wrote IPMAT 2023 and 2024, right? While there have been second-droppers at IIM Indore, you will have to explain your decisions. Why did you take a drop twice? What did you do in these two years? You'll also be asked 11th/12th questions in the interview, which you'll have to revise. Have you taken a partial drop or a full drop?
@@AfterBoards I have taken a full drop but I have so many things to do.I can complete revision of11th and 12th.But I am scaring about troubles because of double drop. How am I going to be affected in getting admission in IIM through IPMAT?
The only area of contingency will be your interview. You'll need to revise your 11th/12th, you'll need to justify your action of a double drop, you'll have to explain the decisions that you took.
Out of the 23,500 students who got a positive score in IPMAT Indore 2024, only ~800 students cleared the cutoff (3.4%). Get to the stage of clearing cutoffs first, then aim at maximising it. We have seen profiles (general) where people maximise either QA or VA, and with a good interview, make it in, even if one of the section was barely clearing the cutoffs. You can't sing like Arijit Singh from day 1, but you can learn and gradually become better.
It is if you can pick questions and attempt the mock in a smart manner. If you can figure out the easy questions and get enough marks to clear the cutoff in 20 minutes, the rest 60 minutes would also be used for the maximisation of your marks, right? (I am aggregating the SA and MCQ - 40 minutes each) If folks face trouble clearing the cutoffs after spending 1 entire year studying, it is about their strategy in attempting the paper. The "level of difficulty" of quants questions in IPMAT is a mix, you have good number of easy questions which people skip or don't even see. You saw the first question, basic ratios, yet a % of people didn't attempt it/got it wrong. Plus, there are profiles that have exactly the SA cutoff, 1 mark more than MCQ cutoff, maximised VA, and got into IIM Indore. In those cases, this is perfectly apt.
