Hello Mark and Sue, from Ouray CO! We just returned home from 2 weeks of camping in Palm Springs. We loved it. We stayed at the KOA, which worked fine for us. But, I will try this place out the next time we go! Look very peaceful!

Thanks 👍Kevin! The dream is a little tougher this year. We are an older couple, so continuing to travel on our channel seemed too risky for this old goat. When Sue gets her vaccination we will still practice good safety tips, but will actually start "moving" the RV place to place again.

This was a great video Mark. Thank you for showing the camp ground. I see why you like it. It’s very nice there. I would love to myself hop into a hot springs. Is that anything like a heated pool? It sounds like it. But not sure. Glad they have activities there. Thank you for this video. Looking forward to seeing seeing another video soon! Stay safe and safe travels.

Glad you enjoyed it Sherri. The large pool was perfectly mixed to be uniformly heated to about 89 degrees, during the day as well as during the dead of night. It never was too cold to swim because the water was so warm.

Oh my how things have changed since you’ve been there! I made our reservations of January of 23 for our dates in 2024. I’m not sure how you get a better camping spot, I would think a year in advance we would get a better spot. We had reservations for January and February of this year and only stayed 4 nights. Maintenance could not get the Wi-Fi or cable tv to work our site, our space was very uneven and couldn’t put out our chairs for outdoors. The maintenance man told us to ask for another site, he was unable to repair the Wi-Fi and said the cable was a spectrum problem. We gave them 2 days to make it right and there were no other options. There were plenty of other nicer spots that were vacant 😩Upkeep is not a priority here. The homeless go through the camp at night and steel. There’s been a hole in the fence for a long time to try to keep them out that has not been repaired. Very poor management! Our neighbor said he’s been there for the last four years, and every year it gets worse, he won’t return either. There’s a different kind of clientele here. The only thing positive of our experience was Georgia in the office, she was great! I would not recommend this rv park to anyone. We found a much better place just down the road, Sky Valley Caliente Springs on Dillon Rd. All things happen for a reason! We’re very happy where we are now👏👏. Love your channel, you’ve taught me a lot 😁

Really sorry to hear that! We LOVED that place and still talk about it often. The hot spring pool was to die for. It was way cheaper than any other place around. We will make sure to read reviews before we go again. We are thinking maybe in late 2024 or early 2025?

Very nice choice! You will have the fire escape door in the bathroom! I assume you will already have the front axle upgrade with the 315 front tires. (Don't know how many were made with the lower capacity front axle, before they were recalled.) You made the best choice for a used Newmar Dutch Star. Going to 2015 and below has NO fire escape door.

@@OurJourneyInMyles- Our coach was built mid 2016 and I verified that it has the 18,000 lb front axle and also all new tires...Love your video's and hope to catch up with you guys someday !!! Next thing on our list is what flat tow vehicle to get and I also want to install Li batteries and solar panels. We left the coach in Houston and will drive it up to South Dakota in a couple of months to pay the sales tax and become legal resediments...Your video on that issue was very informative. Once done with all that, we will drive it back here to Seattle....we will boat in the summer and head south in the winter :-) Thanks so much for what you guys do !!!
