I think it looks a little snug when you button it up. For me I would have to go a size up. I love that jacket.
Gorgeous blazer! I did the same thing as you said to one of my vintage blazers: cut the sleeves shorter and removed the buttons.
Looks so great on you. I have 15 Balmain blazers and had to have each one altered to include the sleeves. However, it was well worth it as the fit is even more tailored to perfection. Be careful as they are very addictive.

Excellent choice Julie; it is beautiful! I am also in between a size 36 and a 38 and neither fits me. My bust gets in the way of a 36 and the shoulders are way too big on a 38 😪 C'est la vie!

I have four Balmain jackets. I love them. I did have to have the entire sleeve taken off and moved up. I bought a smaller size in the others. They are perfect. They do fit rather tight but that is just the style. Certainly can’t wear a sweat underneath. I wear a cami or t shirt.

Hello~ Nice video! What size jackets do you normally wear? I’m also 5.4 & wear a size 6 in Veronica Beard Jackets & size 26/ 27 in jeans. Trying to avoid the return merry go round. TY!
We sound the same size. I guess it depends if you are chesty. If yes, size up. Let me know what size works for you.
