When you open a door with a lever and you put the lever card on the room, is the room "forgotten" from the game? I mean, if the room still has exits to fill, but it's covered by a lever card.
When I have an overlapped card in game (like the portal or the lever in this game) how do its free edges behave? Should I count them as walls? Or can I attach a door/stair to them? Or can I no longer bring other cards near it?
what was under is no longer valid. New overlay card destroys ehat was under it. However, you can play only one overlay card on a room card. You can't stack them on top of each other.
@@MateuszSkutnik yes, but what about the new card? Let's say the portal in this game. Can I place a card north of it, if this card has a closed door on the right (so it matches with the card on the right)? If yes, do I need a closed floor, or a stair is ok too?
you can't place a card to the north once portal card covers the original room card. overlay cards destroy those passages underneath. the only exception is overlay card that creates new passage.
So that’s how Submachine construction would look if SHIVA had hands, huh
