Harajuku Lebels by Empty Mind Films

A staple of the Harajuku scene in Tokyo and still as good as ever are the Harajuku Lebels... rocking and jiving to the fifties classic rock'n roll tunes. They perform most weekends in Harajuku. And yes, it's not Rebels! We happened to be filming the All Japan Karate Tournament at Yoyogi Stadium and sneaked out to shoot this short video clip. Enjoy a rock classic... care of Peggy Sue.

You need to check out the scene in Kitakyushu. They have an annual Americana/Rockabilly event. My friends rockabilly luche libre band El Mars Attack plays at it.
