My account was terminated yesterday because of misleading titles, but that book was published last year so i wonder why my account was suddenly terminated after they blocked the book, please what should I do
Just wanted to clarify incase I was mumbling 😂- someone commented on one of my videos asking me for the “trick” that I did - 5:47 I DID NOT do any “trick” .. I saw my book was on sale and I had marketing systems in place to leverage that! ❤
I'm not sure I agree with that. Amazon makes a lot of money printing and shipping our books. They're the reason your book was on sale. Not some trick you did. Other influencers make way more than that on their platform. They have been indiscriminately terminating accounts lately. In many cases it wasn't the author's fault
Well that’s mostly what I said … I said they place my book on sale but did not expect me to sell over 30,000 copies in one month… I sold that many because I have systems in place. I’m not saying people don’t make a lot of money - but from every one of top UA-cam vids that I’ve watched they make $50,000 a year or less….i made over that in 1 month. They are randomly terminating people true but I personally feel they were mad that I made that much in such a short time at a loss to them! But that’s my personal opinion from my first hand experience.
And like I said….books go on sale all the time! There is nothing authors can do to control that - many don’t even realize when a book is on sale because they have so many published. I saw mine was on sale and promoted it ALOT!
If your account was terminated then how do you unpublish your book, because your book is still listed and if there are any sales then will they pay you. They are listed inall market place. Can you publish the same book listed on kdp on other platforms
The author sets the original price but Amazon controls the discounted price. As far as I know authors on KDP cannot override amazon’s price reduction. But, why would you want to - it does not affect your royalties!
@@shaniceonbiz Good to know, thank you. I didn't know it didn't affect your income - I assumed if your product was priced lower by being on sale, then you wouldn't make as much money.

They remove your books. And yes you can republish just make sure to not try to use their free isbn if you had one assigned.
Does the author not have control over the price of their book and whether or not it goes on sale and if so, for how much? Or does Amazon control that?
