Despite progress. Local businesses closes early. One thing I learned growing up even here in the US. Do your errands early, not the last minute. I feel like it was Martial Law years, that everyone has be inside by the set time. Gangs chasing each other with knives and sling shots. And the PC-Philippine Constabulary with fatigue uniforms would be roaming the City with bullet belts running down their shoulders with long hair and mustached or long beard. Not like the police of today with clean cut and shaved look, shiny shoes and a uniform that looks like basketball referee. I feel like walking in memory lane. 😁😁😁😁
