US Army : we can put so much freedom in it.
us army already uses a model of boston dynamics SPOT ? (it looks the same, just more armoured really) edit . nah, seems to be by Ghost Dynamics www.popularmechanics.com/military/weapons/a33983077/robot-guard-dogs-us-air-force/
@@AndrewTSq I know they r using. That's why i comment this.
Could put 2 machineguns and a flash bang granade launcher for an excellent scouting robot
@@roberts3423 I hope COD will bring these scorestreaks
@@roberts3423 just a flamethrower would do...
When AI finally takes over they will destroy all hockey sticks. They always pushing them over with hockey sticks
😆😆
They'll start a robot religion based around the persecution of their type, its symbol will be the hockey stick.
Nope. Hockey sticks will be colored black and handled only by AI mistresses to punish naughty robots.
Me, a hockey player: angr
And the guy who keeps kicking the boston dynamics dogs will be the first to go
He's all gangsta until there is a wall 20cm high.
That's when it fishes out its bazookas
Everybody gangsta until Ascento build 200 cm version
Plot twist: this was %0.05 of it's real power
He will carry another one on his top so it will jump of and kill you regardless :)
this reminds me of that Tiny robot Otacon used to bring Snake ammo in MGS 4
Make a Spot costume for 2 of them to wear together for halloween. Lol
so, does it pass the butter or what?
The bot: “This is a stick up, fool! I’m holding Siri hostage!
Gimme the money fool what are you looking at! I gotta buy batteries!”
Underrated comment XD only RnM fans will know
Oh my god

@@owenmckenzie962 it's ok I feel your pain
Most of these robots seem scary and threatening, but this one with its small, compact form is actually kind of cute. While it was jumping up steps and performing tricks like a pet dog would, I couldn't help but thinking that I kind of want one.
I thought they were adorable too
Along with adding google eyes.
turn it into a pet
Wait till there are guns mounted to it....See how cute it is then
I have an entire program solution for wheel-leg. If you need it, contact me!
great improvements over a year only, can't wait to see what those guys will be doing in a few years
Make it bark and love unconditionally and ill buy one. A dog that never dies!
So impressed. I also love its size.
It is really nice seeing that you control the Ascento robot with our SpaceMouse Wireless. Great work guys.
Great job! Seriously!❤️
Nice upgrades, but I have to ask, when can we expect the Ascento type wheelchair?
Yeah, most of these robotics companies would spend billions on robots that don't really help anybody.
Nice thinking!!!
@@mkv9105 the market has to propel the technology for it to be affordably scaled up. who would be able to afford such wheelchairs if they cost 250k-400k each? also, not everyone needing a wheelchair is able to handle jumping upstairs. there are better ways, like this. ua-cam.com/video/drDrxPFaiLA/v-deo.html but it's super hard to make them affordable, or even maintain the old models.
@@francopanigaia2425 they don't cost that much each, the majority of the tech is software. I suspect they could be made for around £3k or so. Whether they sold for that is a different matter.. even the bearings on a wheelchair (which are the exact same as on a skateboard) - yet if you buy them for a skateboard you are charged a few pence but if you buy them for a wheelchair they literally cost 300x more..
@@con_boy that is true its nothing new really i can code something like that very easily
You know what this reminds me of?
1) no gi grapplers scrambling when their opponents try a leg take down
2) Mk.2, illegal metal gear tech
MK.2 me too...
surprised that took so many comments to find someone that saw this too.
3) Nightmare Frames from Code Geass
ua-cam.com/video/EVhsHWafCas/v-deo.html
seeing videos like these, makes me thing its Game Over for us.
First impressive robot I have seen in a long time.
With only 2 wheels is very difficult stay vertical. This robot is a great step forward in servomechanics. I think this kind of robots will be faster and eco efficient than the bi - pedestrian counterpart.
Ascento v2
This is your daily dose of Recommendation
I’ve been waiting for something like this for years now. Now, scale them up and released them on the streets.😆👌🏼😎
This is really impressive.
Not the robot, but it's adaptive range. Marvellous.
if Ascento develops further, it will soon reach the level of Boston Dynamics and possibly even overtake!👍
Imagine a bunch of these robots hopping to your position while firing SMGs
@Tanya Rodriguez the home security version will fire rubber bullets and have a tazer probably 😂
@Tanya Rodriguez we never know...
The most threatening thing ever is an army of these little guys all dual-wielding Nerf Hyperfires.
Recoil will flip it. Laser pointer to the eyes is more possible.
Tasers would be fine too.
Change the world and open source this. Nice work.
Forget the Robot. That sweet Bass slide in the beginning shook my house ;) Also, best CGI I ever saw ;) In all seriousness: This has amazing potential to act as a "seeing eye dog" for the blind. Hopefully that is one of the rolls it will fulfill.
mmm, Can I get one?
I hope I dont need to sell my kidney, like Boston Dynamics asked for both of them.
but boston dynamics has far better quality
YES, this is what I always thought of when I saw videos of walking robots: why don’t they have wheels on their feet? Now this robot should also spin and stop the wheels while walking to stabilize itself.
Why do I have visions of Saturday Night Fever in my head lol
@@publicprofilename4273 because you’re old
I got one of those for Christmas... in 1968
it looks like a portable seat that can follow you on your morning stroll. When you get tired you sit down and take a rest.
Really cool. Looks like a solid candidate for last mile deliveries.
Now we know how Metal Gear started. LOL
Fast editing always seems suspicious... Better show off a continuous take of it tackling an obstacle course without cuts.
I like how Boston Dynamics doesn't cut anything.... :) Exactly my thought. Fast cuts are always super suspecious.
Beautiful and simple structure.
Really well done!
Nice cut take on escalator, im sure that was messy 0:53
The one from Boston Dyamics can do that easily. Stairs no problem.
Error Code 0. I wonder if it just kept falling forwards or wigging out because the accelerometers detected movement. But really it was stationary technically. I wish they would've shown that because it's good to know it's strengths and weaknesses. I feel like the guy stood there because it needed a reference target to realize it wasn't actually moving and it was just in a follow mode.
Snaku?. Snaku!!!
Great work !!!
Fantastic so impressed with the technology
The new hoverboards?
no?
So hear me out here ai ascento. Ehh? Ehh?
Just imagine having a companion with a personality like the personality cores from portal without the need to carry a sphere.
BRILLIANT!!
That music score adds impression to the character.
Congratulation to the team. After years of hard work and research, you managed to produce the most annoying music for a UA-cam video that ever existed.
It's some of the best.
very great hopefully I can integrate it to vehicle suspensions soon.
I am excited for this
Just imagine robots helping the old folks up the stairs, cook, clean self charge...ect
Wonderful editing!
very beautiful!!
From Vietnam
Editing is on point
It's really cool what Control Systems could do
Wow, beeindruckend!
What ever u Guys achieved is not easy...congratulations
ppl thats old or have other physical restraints would need one of these when going shopping
Perfect balance!!!Amazing!!!
Good job guys!
I'd love to see this go against an ATV and win.
It's weird how when we picture the future it looks like something familiar, but the thing that does the job best looks nothing like we could imagine.
This is the future no one imagined, and it looks like a hybrid between the lower half of a human with training wheels.
It looks a bit like ED209!!! Love it :D
Nice job bois!
That is fantastic
its legit pretty adorable
Chips help my 100 gram airplane fly decent in20 mph winds.
So yea i expect this and more.
Excellent work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome!!
The cutest robot I’ve ever seeeeeen! I want it as a pet! Hahahah
Yay! A balancing algorithm with wheels, a sensor suite and legs!
This is sick
Looks like the Metal Gear Solid 4 robot that follows you throughout the game!
Really good job
The same but with 4 legs could be an amazing platform that is energy efficient on flat surfaces (wheels) yet can navigate difficult terrain (articulating legs). Like a cheaper, more marketable spot mini. No need for fancy hip joints when you have omni wheels.
First you make sure the AI cannot be out run or circumvented from getting where it wants to go. Later when it becomes self-aware we'll be glad we made sure it could run us down no matter what!
What a wheel chair that would make. What a gift to the disabled.
Wooooow this is magic maan❤️
Between this and Boston dynamics I've just started to count the days till I'm serving our robotic overlord
That’s really epic
Robots are cool🤙
.
But when that robot balance itself like that , that's just blows up my mind 🤯
impresionante, MENUDA ESTABILIDAD
Cute little guy that deserves to be in Star Wars.
Very useful for Bilateral Amputees.
Awesome :)
Amazinggg.
when Boston dynamics comes yeeting in with spot and handle
Bravo!
Groovy little guy...
Nice job Otacon...
Wonderful
perfect for mail or other small parcel delivery
Developers : No one can beat down Ascento 2.
Corridor Crew : Hold my beer.
Love it
💪😂👏👏👏👏 Show...!! Congratulations..!!
Is it just me or does anyone else think this lil’ bot is kinda adorable?
Our cat 🐈 would love one 😂
Feels like I’m watching one of those athletic clips video but for robots lol
...But that looks so amazing 😄
0:47 AWWWWW SO CUTE!!
It’s predecessors must be proud.
Height-adjustable Segway? Let's goooooo!
Seriously, show a video of someone riding one of these.
Well done
Amazing 😉
very cool !!!!)))
yes, i would adopt one of these... why not?!
Nice weapon you’ve got there.
It would be neat to see one of these adapted to an InMoov robot.
Now all we need is Big Boss and Snake.
