Lostwithiel Level Crossing

- Saturday June 18 2016 at 7.45 am. The 6.30 Penzance to Glasgow (18.11) train leaving Lostwithiel station in Cornwall 11 minutes late. The front of the train can just be seen as it stops in the station. About 3,000 people live here and 100 use the station each day. The crossing barriers, I believe, were originally on Noah's Ark. The dog clearly knows all about what happens when trains go past and a lot of tail wagging takes place. There is no footbridge here so had those pedestrians wanted that train, they'd have stood there for 6 minutes watching it come and go without them. About 2 minutes of the wait here was cut.
Welcome back Steve! 👏
Thanks for all the nice comments and the number of views rising a one a minute. UA-cam wouldn't upload from my 2007 computer any more. There is a big backlog to upload.
Where have you been so far Steve? Or do you not want to spoil the surprise... ;)
Your very welcome, we didn't know where you were and we were all worried, but now your back were all happy again. And the barriers at Lostwithiel are my favourite sort. I've caught them at a few crossings.

Hi steve, lovely to see your videos again!
Good video! glad that you're back
Finally back!!
Me and Joe were just saying yesterday that we hadn't seen anything from you for ages.
God, that dog is so damn cute!
Great to see you have returned and 03:00 why did the barrier bounce?
well, it's sort of like the "Hunting" that the half barriered versions of these barriers do. if you look closely throughout the beginning of the video you can see the barriers raises slowly but the motor kicked in at 3:00 to push it back down again.
