This group is timeless, I've been listening to them for years and it always makes feel something I can't explain. It's totally saved me in times of need. Especially with anxiety and depression. I hope they keep making more music. I have yet to see them live though!
Their live show is unlike anything else. There's so much power and emotional energy and atmosphere in a live, loud, encapsulating environment that even their absolutely marveous albums can't quite capture. I want to see them live every opportunity I get, I've seen them once so far and it was incredible.

Victoria's voice has such a rich and silky sound. She captures every nuance of feeling in these lyrics and the melody is a perfect compliment to the romance she creates. And then I look at her in the photo and think to myself: "This woman is a mystery." And the relationship we know as Beach House is a miracle of the chemistry we call Love.

A long time ago I woke up right in the middle of a good song in my dream. I didn't know Beach House then but the very first time I heard the melody in 1:03 I could've sworn this song was it. It's interesting.
I keep listening to it nonstop. I came across their music when I was starting with my girfriend and that's another good reason to play it over and over :-)
The reason why people always want the first album again and again is that that is the group of songs that have made the most impressions even if they not that good. In short, the first song most people hear is what they use to judge the band and decide what their music should sound like, and what doesn't sound like that isn't apparently as good or notable. Just my point of view; I like the later songs more
I think the Itunes EP is amazing. Some of it is even more reverby than Devotion I think...in a trip/hop kind of way. The new take on Norway is more up my alley than the Teen Dream version. I dig pop Beach House...they're cut out for it fairly well, they're terrific songwriters. But yeah...the actual Teen Dream album...nothing like the first two records.

I listened to this and found it underwhelming...Mabey I need to give it another listen. As dreamy as devotion, teen dream, and bloom are, I just find them more engaging then there first album...but yea cool song tho

I'm from the 60's era but I have to say I really like the sound of Beach House. Very easy to listen to. Relaxing - I love it.
