Family reunions and family vacations can be hard to pull off let alone coordinating everything down to a T but Jalyn and Shay did it and we are so happy about our Orlando Florida family vacation 2024. We flew on Frontier and had a nice flight. In this Orlando vacation vlog, we went on a Seaworld Orlando Vlog and ICON Park and we definitely enjoyed our Villa in Kissimmee Air BnB immensely- and most of all we enjoyed spending time with our family because Family Matters!!! I was sad to see your trip end, and for your family to physically scatter, however, I know this trip strengthened your bond. And, you guys are right: Your parents would be very proud that you guys all came together and made your family trip happen-especially in honor of and in tribute to them and all they poured and invested into your family. The NEXT family trip will be even better, grander and greater!
You guys made good use of your time in Orlando as well. I normally plan "on" days (family activity and event days) and "off" (rest/"Do whatever you want" days), every other day. They don't always work out this way on schedule due to the weather, people who choose to attend the abominable timeshare presentations to get free park tickets and other perks and lack of cooperation by some, but we try...! We're all over Orlando/Kissimmee/St. Cloud at any given moment, so there's that. What's great about the Orlando area is it's easy to carve out activities for EVERY age group.
When you guys return-prayerfully in a couple of years, or less-it'll be fun and even more memorable for you guys if you schedule in couple nights (just the couples go out to dinner, activities, etc.); siblings days [day(s) where just the siblings go out together doing fun/interesting things you guys like to do together, I.e., shopping, brunch/lunch/dinner, etc.]; and infra-family days (When the small families within the corporate family spend time together doing whatever). It's all about creating spectacular memories together and being together as a family. There's just so much to do in Orlando at any given time, and they're ALWAYS building new things and opening up new businesses/adventures, we can and will never do everything! Things and circumstances are not always perfect, but when a family has a foundation, they'll make it work.
Further, isn't it crazy how when we get soaked/drenched at water parks and on water rides in Orlando, how quickly we dry up-pretty much as soon as we get off the rides-because it's so darn hot! In November, Orlando has daily bi-polar weather. Sometimes, it's raining cats and dogs with torrential rain, and in the next moment-within minutes and hours-it's scorching hot!

And, YES! I’ve been planning large family vacations for decades and giving travel advice to many of my friends, colleagues and church members over the years. I like to provide advice that travel brochures don’t offer. I know what people like to do and what will make them happy while on vacay. Further, I understand the importance of quality and meaningful time together. It’s not often that families are able to come together; get away from their every day lives; and spend such uninterrupted time together. We miss so many things in families as a result of LIFE, which sometimes can result in family members being and feeling like strangers; as if we didn’t grow up with these people in the same home; raised by the same parents. It’s a sad and unfortunate thing.
In an ideal and surreal world, our families could travel together! TRUST ME: We would have so much fun together!
