Christon hit upon so many major issues both on School of Roses and EVERY interview he's done since it. Seriously love this dude both as a brother in Christ and as an artist.
Awesome interview! Very encouraging and I always appreciate honesty from an artist. Not many would be this open. Congrats on the album Chris I slept on you for a while but i knew I liked some features you were in and decided to buy School of Roses a week ago. It's fantastic. I've always been the type to really be drawn to artists who are completely transparent in their music, whether it be secular or christian, and I'm happy to have this on my phone now cuz there hasn't been much to offer as far as conscious hip hop/r&b goes this year. Or at least as far as I know. Thanks for being a light in the darkness bro and I hope God continues to use you for his glory. Be blessed.
I'm so thankful that God brought Christon Gray to make the School of Roses album. It successfully addressed some issues that I have been dealing with as a young, immature Christian that even some pastors are scared to address. All the while, I thought I was alone with this battle. That's before I heard the songs from this album. Especially the songs "Wanna", "Vanish", "Moving On", and "Roses 102 - Burning House."
Amazing interview!!! I am so glad I decided to watch this! God is doing wonderful things in his life. This a real man of God and bringing glory to His name. Thanks for being so transparent!
"It's school. You don't go to class and take the test." Man…on point with that comment. Although I always find myself having to listen to a lot of Christon Gray's music several times over before I can get the gist of what he's saying. Not because it's too deep or confusing, but it has a lot of levels to it & you have to really sit down and hear what's being said. Great interview!
I absolutely love the realness and honesty of this interview and School of Roses. I didn't even plan on watching this entire interview at 1:00AM, but I'm glad I watched it. It was real encouragement.
Totally could relate to the beginning part of this. God bless this dude for being so real. Glad I watched the whole thing, it was a great interview. Got a lot of understanding. This helps when explaining the album to others.

Good word and a awesome album! Sound like his life goes along with the album and I like to hear that his wife was ok with the songs!
There is no success ceiling in Christ, man keep going harder, and keep dealing with real issues.
