2:18 What I do is , put a few smaller sheets of bubble wrap OR brown paper bags in your haul bag before you go ! Brown paper lunch bags seem to do fine. I'm always buying paper items, so I have a plastic sleeve in my bag as well.
It looks to me like the globes with Tinkerbell rotate while the music is playing. And yeah, they didn't allow enough space between tables. Would've annoyed me, too.

I go to an area about 30 miles from where I live for rummage sales. Last year there was one that stated in their ad "no resellers". I think it was because they were either just taking donations for the items or selling very cheap and wanted them to go to people who needed the items. I didn't go because I had other places to go. When we go to rummage sales , we will usually give some extra money as most times the money is going to a specific cause such as a food pantry, youth trip or other local cause. Our rummage sales prices tend to be very cheap, and I know I am getting a bargain , so I am happy to do that and they have always expressed their appreciation for the extra money..
That is so sweet of you! I do the same thing! I feel if it is for a good cause everyone should give an extra dollar or two especially if you know it is an item that will bring really good money and you’re going to make out like a bandit an extra couple bucks won’t kill anyone 😉

Jingle Pals...the piano guy is the most sought after. Was going to mention the same! They sell without tags for around 65.00 at Christmas and really all year. There was a whole box!! I yelled but she didn't hear me!! lol

They should've limited the amt of people at one time. Tink Snow Globe, pretty complete...goes for 125.00 to 250.00 depending on condition, so good you did pick it out!

Out of curiosity I looked the snowglobe up and the pictures show tinkerbell sideways when looking from the steps. Someone sold a pre-owned for $100 plus shipping though, so maybe a good decision after all. Try winding it and see if tinkerbell rotates with the music?
Hi new to your channel. I would say the tinkerbell rotates when the music plays. The batteries is for the lights. And I seen a damaged one for over a $100 on ebay. The skeleton cat was hilarious its probably motion activated 🤣 The tables was not set up for people to shop comfortably. And I sell something I don't care if they are going to resell it. People like that drive me crazy. I always am happy if I get what I've marked it. And by the end of my swap meets. I am selling boxes and even table top deals. I didn't want to drag it around forever🌺
Hi! When I worked at The Disney Store in mid 90’s we had those type of snow globes. They were selling upward for $200! And believe you me we sold a lot of them at that price. Cause people had the Disney credit card. And then there was/is exclusive snow globes just for Disney fanatics club. I would ask up to $50 for it! But do your research!
Tinker Bell rotates she stopped facing backwards. Looks like a super valuable snow globe on Ebay. I would have sold it as is so buyer could repair at half of what it sales in perfect condition. I mean in the original styrofoam shipping would be easy.

yeah I was in savers looking at snow globe that just put out I was looking and looking finally found the damage and then looked at the price 49.99 yeah did not buy that not only for the damage but for the principle they got it for free do they really need to charge that much. My claustrophobic tendencies would have turned me around and out of there in about 2 mins. You picked good stuff. Green horse is an awesome find. That Disney thing, the insides probably turn in the water of the snow globes. That extra part doesn't look like it belongs to it at all. It looks expensive, you should spend the time to put batteries in it, and check it out. It might be worth your time. Loved that you could deal with that crowd.

you should see them at the GW bins they act like animals . I was driving by the other day and thought I would stop in hate that place triple hate the bins and I never find anything worth my trouble and stress. It is the freaking economy sooo many people turning to reselling at least in my area ... you can tell because they are all doing comps on their phones ... so many here getting more and more difficult to find anything worth selling at any of the thrifts
@@neoanderson726 I know that’s why I don’t really go to the bins. There is one about 40 minutes from me but I have never been there because I have read the reviews for that one. I went to one in Pennsylvania about a year ago and it was very small and not that crowded but unfortunately there wasn’t anything to great to buy. I respect others personal space so I need others to respect mine or things could get ugly 😉

Older parishioners & not enough stay at home moms to help. But you could see the change too. Some started charging $10-20 to get in early. That is all directed at the resellers. We have huge sales in NJ that have been known for years as “dealers” sales. Bedminster & Princeton
I love rummage sales and have always had good luck at church ones. But the last Healthy Connections rummage sale advertised as 'by donation' and when I went to pay they made up an amount....double what I would have paid. I was so embarrassed because I was worn out (I'm disabled, on an Inogen oxygen tank) and didn't have the energy to put a bunch back. Blew my weekends $.
Yeah it was a zoo. When you were behind the woman with the walker you practiced good patience. I know it’s tough, your adrenaline is up and you’re on a mission but it’s like hitting a wall and your mind is all over the room. You should put a dish towel in your bag. That way you have a little padding with you.
As someone that recently had knee surgery and am having to use a walker....I made a point to watch to see if there were any people there in that scramble of people that were using something like that. I only saw the one, but it was enough to tell me that even as badly as I hate to miss this sale season....I dont need to be pissin off a bunch of other resellers trying to find treasures! LOL! So I will stick to my online auctions and small garage sales this year.

The problem with sardine city rummage sales is there’s no “space planning” seems the people just don’t spread out the tables and items to sell very well! They could of had even more sales if more people could fit through! How can you really look and find anything when your all packed in like cattle……. It can make shopping feel like the last day to shop before Christmas! So maybe that’s why you didn’t enjoy it as much. People running into the building like wild dogs for their prey. 😂😂…. And I’m sure you didn’t like hearing someone upset about resellers! 🙄….. too many trying to control others that are just trying to make a living, oh my heavens….. well happy sales I always enjoy your videos and shopping along with you!

Lots of nice items. How do. you not break the glass items and do you.pay for the item if you break. You were quite clumsy. The spaces were too close They should have a holding area for people to store their items,pay for them and check them,like coat check. There are just too many heavy and breakable items. Looked like people were just grabing. Was there a time limit on shopping. lots of breakage

They should have a holding area for people to store their items,pay for them and check them,like coat check.

Better you than me, I would have a panic attack in such a crowded cramped area! I laughed when you seemed to not understand how something was bought, stating “some how this got in my bag”! 😂. At least they seem to have decent prices, not the lowest you’ve been to, but still, not bad. ✌🏼❤️
