Kamen Rider are always for kids. But something about Showa Riders that most Heisei Riders never had. It's called charisma. Showa riders are also more athletic as they are capable of doing stunts on their own while Heisei Riders relies on cheap CG gimmicks to make themselves look cool.

That was probably the toughest, most difficult first battle I've seen in Kamen Rider. Man was outnumbered and outgunned. When he transformed, it was cathartic. They really did well building up to the henshin.
