- In July 2022, we went to Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand. This gem of nature's beauty is located in Chamoli district, about 4 km from Ghangharia village. We reached Haridwar by bus, and from there took 10 hours drive to Joshimath. From there we went to Govindghat and started a 10 km trek to Ghangharia. The next day, we started the trek to Valley of Flowers. Don't miss this beautiful place and share your feedback.

Valley of Flowers National Park is an Indian National park located in Himalaya, in the state of Uttarakhand. Getting to the Valley of Flowers requires a trek of about 17 km. It is one of those rare natural botanical gardens in India. Flowers bloom everywhere in a riot of colours. July and August, during monsoon, is the best time to do the trek.
Day 1: Govind Ghat to Ghangria via Poolna, Day 2: Ghangria to Valley of Flowers and back.

Went there 1 to 5 October 2022…. though there were not much flowers, it was absolutely scenic and beautiful ❤
Could have visit during July
You should visit in may to September months

Is doli allowed inside? I am travelling with my parents (64 n 60 years old). Hope things work out well. Does it rain in last week of July
No mules go this side. If people cant walk, they can opt for Doli service of a Basket service. Doli is where 4 people carry and Basket is where one person....
July month weather of Valley of flowers is passes in frequent showers but temp remains pleasant to travel. Like July, August month weather of Valley of flowers remains pleasant with frequent rainfall. Carry good grip boots.
