Hello people! I know you're not here for me, you are here to see football players speaking various languages and there are like millions of these kinds of videos out there on UA-cam but I still want to thank you for over 1 million views and over 1000 subscribers!
Regarding certain comments, I know that the definition of the term "polyglot" is pretty debatable and as a non-native English speaker I have always thought the term meant a person who can speak 4+ languages. Seems like polyglot actually means you can speak 5+ languages, so sorry if the title of the video is misleading or something.
Also, I know that some of these players aren't very fluent in certain languages shown in the video, some speak in very basic sentences but for me it's not a big deal.
Lastly, as I said at the beginning of this video, I haven't made a single penny from this video even if I technically could since there have been no copyright strikes. I don't own any material shown in this video and I didn't upload this to make money. Monetizing this video would actually be illegal. I simply wanted people to see that these players can speak these languages, some more fluently, some less fluently.
Thank you all :)
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
He is a language King!
Is from belgium 🇧🇪 parle français
Fun fact; Özil speaks German with Turkish accent and at the same time speaks Turkish with German accent
@Jason J I think English is different : )
@Jason J Every turk in germany who is born hear speaks fluent but özil is özil
@Jason J I think it's not a real "Turkish accent". He speaks German like every native, simply because he is a native.
Each of us has a slang. Ozil's slang is the one spoken among the Turkish Community in Germany.
Maybe he's too lazy to switch to a "standard German" when he's on TV. Nevertheless, he's a native German speaker like all Germans.
@@__n__g__8935 nah
Ozil was born and raised in Gelsenkirchen, where the accent is really heavy. His Turkish is what is called "provinceless" Turkish, typical of Turks who don't come from Turkey and have no personal links to any province or vilyayet.
Where is lukaku? He speaks French Dutch, Lingala, Portuguese, English, German and now learning Italian!!!!
I'm working on a second part and he most definitely will be included in that video!
El Momento Hermano yes there is a video where he speaks linguala with benteke
Lukaku never played in germany
@@sergiokun7925 they always used that at Everton, so that the opponents didn't know, what they were planning
Sergio Kun it was with bolasie
What Mesut said in spanish: "Yes, very good, Cristiano Ronaldo, eeeh, two goals today, puts two goals, and we win, eeeh, very happy".
Wahahagaha
And again more than Bale >:)
He also said that they won
XDDD
Özil only speaks Turkish perfect afaik, even his German is poor, although born and raised in Germany.
De Bruyne be like “let me talk”.
🤣🤣🤣
While he speaks German, he throws in the word 'belangreich'...my first thought: He was thinking that there must be some kind of word like 'belangrijk' (Dutch & Belgian Dutch) in German and has just invented it...but the most funny fact: I just found out that the word 'belangreich' really exists instead of 'wichtig' (meaning 'important'), even if it's very outdated. So Kevin de Bruyne teached me something about my own mother language now. :D

It’s funny when you see all these European players speaking multiple languages to a very high standard then you see a lot of British players who can barely speak English
And they say footballers are dumb
That's probably why you rarely see English players abroad in Europe. Sancho has only spent 3 years in Germany and is already coming back to England, he prob didn't learn much German in the meantime
@Home Just Doesn't change anything to the statement
And they are the worst offenders in saying "would of/could of"
@r s of course, look at Bale, who stood there for like 6 years
Wtf Lovren is a beast in speaking German
Das habe ich zuerst gar nicht gewusst, das er auch deutsch spricht & das sogar besser als *Mesut Özil*

It's not that simple...German part of Belgium is also VERY small (lower than 1% of the population). But don't try to figure it out, It's a hopelessly complicated nation for such a small surface.

Speaking another language relatively well requires tremendous discipline, energy, and time. I marvel at these talented football polyglots. "Ausgezeichnet!" "Geweldig!" "Magnifique!" Well done!

The Croatian ones speak so many languages! Almost all of them.
There is the cliche that footballers are not very smart but it is undeniabale That the majority is Talented in languages. They learn the language of their clubs so fast
lol, people who can speak many language are considered smart cause learning foreign language are not easy.
Where is diego forlan?? He speaks english, japanese, portuguese, italian and spanish ( a bit of japanese ) and i think he is one of the latin american players who speaks the best english because he went to a bilingual school when he was a little boy.. You forgot him! He is a very polite man
I'm English and not bilingual, but I feel like I understood 80% of Pepe Reina's German
I think he was just learning German at the time so was throwing in a few English-isms because he didn't know the German word. Such as using the -ful suffix, that is an English construct. I don't think they use that in German.
All the languages that kdb spoke were languages we learn in school in Belgium
Did belgium have designated region? Like, this province official language is french, this one is dutch, and this one german?
Or the 3 languages is official in every province? Did goverment paper written in 3 languages?
In the dutch part we learn french from when we are 10, english from when we are 12 and german when we are 14 and at 15 you can even chose to do spanish or Italian at some schools

Most of them have a decent amount of time on their clubs and in that amount of time they manage to learn the language of the country, and its is many many football players that do that yet i don't understand why Bale can't manage to learn/speak fucking spanish
Bale doesn't even speak Welsh. Don't know why he couldn't bother learning Spanish when Beckham did it.

@Name unbekannt That's what De Bruyne said. And that means "I don't give a fuck, we won".
De Bruyne is Belgian. This also explains his natural fluency in the different languages even though some other Belgian players may not have it.
He learned German while playing for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, his mom is an English speaker. Plus, he has the French level of a toddler so it has nothing to do with being Belgian, they hardly speak the other language of the country because they don't need it, it's either Dutch or French!
Very impressed by Pepe Reinas german, gramatically there weren't any mistakes. I didn't even remember him playing for Bayern lol
