Alex, WHAT A RAW and BLOODY episode! Not sure if you already noticed, but Fujimoto - the author of Chainsaw Man, much like Isayama with Attack on Titan, has mastered the art of subtle storytelling, and it's such a treat to watch.

Didn't the Yakuza guy in the first Episode say only the government official hunters are allowed to take on Devils? But now Denji and Power are being scolded for killing one supposedly claimed by a "civilian hunter" wtf? Even if I misheard, that's still kinda nonsense. Honestly, for monsters roaming the streets.. No laws would be written to prevent a government hunter from killing one, just because some under-equipped civilian hunter "claimed" it. All that a law like that would accomplish, would be to allow further deaths and destruction. In such a situation, there is no time to worry about who has claim to the kill.
watch the second ep again, at the end, you can see the civilian hunter on the telephone booth.
and you know that not everything works as we expect it, there's corruption everywhere, even if he was asking for backup, if someone comes and kills it, you can tell the autorithies they stole your kill, and that being an fiend, it's even worse.
remember, power is a fiend, she doesn't have the same rights of humans.
@@ash666pro lmao in what world does some incapable idiot get to claim-a-kill, just cause they were on scene first, despite being horribly outmatched and afraid, cowering in a phone booth calling for backup. Sorry but the moment a stronger bounty hunter shows up, and does your job for you, you lose claim to that bounty.
There's always corruption, the world will never work the way we think it's the right way, that's why people can process you for excess of violence, if they beat you up after you tried to steal from them.
@@ash666pro That's got nothing to do with the point, and seems a rather childish thing to point out imo. lol Anyone who response to injustice, by ignoring it and saying nonsense like "life's not fair", is not helping, not adding anything to the discussion, and in some ways is actively excusing the behavior that makes things corrupt. Don't accept corruption/injustice, that's the lazy way out.
