I feel like you guys needed some context before watching this. This is a RAP line (RM, Suga, J-Hope) song. The VOCAL line (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) were just rapping the song for fun, taking the RAP line's place. So they weren't really taking it too seriously.

Jungkook used to rap in early songs by BTS, so we know he can. But V! V has been on a campaign to join the rap line for 10 years. At various Festas they let him have a go and he rapped his heart out, living his best life. while the rap line stood around indulgently smiling at him. In the 2021 (I think) festa they did a full cast version of Daechwita for fun which was hilarious. V wore a beard that I am still convinced was cut from an old piece of carpet! In this Daeng, V did great. Truly, we don't need to point you at a live performance because they are all great. However, I would suggest you pick a song, do the MV, look for and "Explanation" video, do the choreo video and then the live to get the full force of what you are looking at! It's abs fine to share your very first swipe at a number, because, yes, ya can appreciate it like that too, but there is so often a lot more to it - and the live is the abs icing on the experience. Daeng is fantastic even if all you go for the sound and the feel of the words as you imagine them in yr mouth - but it's a helluva lot more than that! Give it a go!

The best performance of this is where they were wearing a fusion traditional Korean clothing and holding big fans. JK and Jimin was originally prepared to rap could you imagine? But he asked to focus on vocal, and someone mercifully asked them to let Jimin do what he prefers which is to sing. We would have lost those amazing singing voices if they were forced to rap.

I don’t think you understood but this song is just the rapline. This was a special performance, so this was the vocal line doing their rap verses, that’s why Jimin even stated to laugh in his part. Only Jungkook used to rap in the old days the rest of the vocal line tried their best for this performance, for fun, their used to do this special performances for a special concert for fans called muster. You should listen to the original and also the lyrics are pure genius.
