He is one of the OG's of the SPEC 4 MAFIA. I bet he knows all kids of good sh*t on his Chain of Command and just wants to be left alone as an E4. He's like a WO5. Rare breed. He's like the CSM of the lower enlisted.
My buddy and I were at the reenlist stage of our time during the surge. My main argument against reenlisting with Top and the career counselor was lack of travel opportunities (zero). They came back with reenlist w/Korea option PCS. My buddy did it, I just got out. After I ETS’d, while he was at the unit waiting on orders to Korea the stop loss policy hit and he end up back in Iraq and Korea never happened. Needs of the Army 🤷♂️
That was my pop's favorite thing he did in his 20 years he served in the Army. He still has the pics of traveling across Europe in his chest/luggage he brought home. He was stationed in Germany for 8 years. We still have all the crystal and fine china he bought for cheap, too 😂😂😂

When you find a middle aged specialist who’s been to Korea… you go out drinking with that man.
Quickest way to make E-5 in the Army is to go to Korea as an E-6.
Haha so true
why does everyone talk about demotion in SK? i’m not in the military so i wouldn’t know
@Chino57038 it's notorious for people getting in trouble over there bc all there is to do is eat, sleep, and drink.
Dogs like 35 and an E-4. Bet he was demoted in South Korea
He's on the gaurd/reserves that's normal
E-3
Bet he had a lot of fun before being demoted.
@sendit101 : "What in actual fuck!?" That was what I said after seeing a couple of Coasties in A'Stan.

There’s a lot you shouldn’t say about what you did in Korea

Iirc south korea has to raise dogs for meat instead of other animals becuase of landmass restrictions
The Korean youth are very much vocal and against dog meat so no it isn't common, it is more common in China than there
@@20dancegirl interesting, thst makes sense.
Consumption of dog meat is now illegal in Korea.
Can confirm, it's mostly just old people that eat dog in Korea, and even then it's not relatively common
