@@vanishli6645 making a fricking animation frame by frame is not an easy task;-; u also need to decide what to put there and with many hours of content to choose from condensing it to 2-4mins is hard;-; before u call her overrated i dare you to make an animation in 2 months (that's how much time she took) and study at school at the same time+-+

“You had a dream and I followed it but you brought it downhill, you ruined it!” It shows that Fundy trusted Schlatt and put faith in him to be a better role model to him than Wilbur. It really makes me sad that Fundy has lost so many people he trusted :((

What really puts this new animatic separate from the others is that there are scenes of pure white backgrounds which isn't something that SAD-ist does. It really emphasizes the essence of not understanding the full weight of the situation or pure awe in some parts. It is just so special and good. So glad you reacted to it.

Yea... but at least a lot of other creators are growing and being recognized. I know for a fact that the Dream SMP has inspired a lot of people to improve their art and create channels, and its so amazing to see!
And the fact that all of the Dream SMP members are attempting to watch not just her stuff but other animators/artist's works too is heartwarming. Obviously SAD-ist's stuff is some of the most iconic and famous in the community, but that doesn't mean that other people's work isn't fantastic too. For example: I found this absolutely amazing animatic called "Stockholm Syndrome" (Eret has actually reacted to it but I originally found it on the Dream SMP reddit) and it's about Tommy's depression arc and Dream's manipulation. One of my favorite animatics ever. It's so good
the 'what are you doing?' literally gives me chills

Just a little detail:
When Wilbur says: “It’s over” his eyes are kind of faded, sketchy? And then Phil comes and his eyes turn back to normal. Underrated detail, I think it’s very cool myself
Dream SMP *ANIMATION* not animatic. The mouths move when they talk.
The mouth movements mean nothing it could still be an animatic with them
But with every other movement it happens yes it is an animation
Mmm not exactly, Animatics can have mouth movements as well.
SAD-ist still relies heavily on camera movements, jump cuts, and her animatics are still colorless, as in lineart. Her true 'animation' is the Dream vs Technoblade video. Since it's an animation, fully colored and has proper in-betweeners.
Her DREAM SMP animatics are still considered animatics because it lacks the colors and in-between frames, slow down the playback speed, and you'll see there's a lot of scenes that are more still and isn't animated as much.
@SarcasticBooks Now that you've mentioned it, the whole colorless thing isn't exactly a valid point, yes, as I only based it off of one of JaidenAnimation's comment, saying that her animation (back around 2018-2019) is still technically an animatic.
That said I myself have encountered various animations being completely colorless, so we can forget about that point.

One thing I love about it is that SAD-ist included burn marks and scars in Tubbos design from when he got executed. I thought it was a really clever detail

Bro i will not lie when i watched the orginal i stopped breathing for a second because i was so focused on the animatic and no matter how many times i rewatch it i still slowly get closer to the screen. SAD-ist is so amazing and she's improved so much i can't stop rethatching it.

I like the attention to detail where when sad-ist draws phil protecting wilbur from the tnt with his wing it gets torn up afterwards.

One thing that SAD-ist did so well is make it seem 3D. She made it seem like a camera is panning around, this is especially seen when Techno reveals the vault. The way the 'camera' rotates around the group and then focuses on Techno makes it seem like the room is physical and 3D, not 2D
That’s it, someone needs to get a team of animators to help SAD-ist make a show from this.
The scene at 3:30 hits really hard. It only is shown for a second, but it really is powerful in ways I can’t even begin to describe.
Gets me every time how Phil hugs Wilbur to protect him from the explosion for a split second-

I think something that is commonly overlooked is Techno's line: "I am ready for revolution boys!"
That is a direct parallel to Eret's other (less famous) line- "Down with the revolution boys! (It was never meant to be.)"
IN ADDITION Eret's betrayal took place when he was leading them to a bunker to get supplies, and Techno's paralleled line occurs in his own bunker full of supplies.
I just think it's neat. :)
