I've seen Dwight live twice. He interacts with the audience so well. You can tell that he and his band are always giving 100% to entertain the audience. The most impressive thing about Dwight's dancing is that he can dance at all. His jeans are so damn tight. I don't know how he can even walk let alone dance. I would think blood circulation and splitting a seam would be of concern.
@@jjkcharlie I'm from North Dakota so I can relate. Big time artist aren't exactly breaking down the door to play shows here. We get some from time to time. I'm glad I got the opportunity to see Dwight, he is one of the few that has played here.
Hi Edith, we've recently reacted to all three of the Dwight songs you suggested. Camilla is loving Dwight Yoakam! Those videos are on my channel. Thanks
U just know that man was getting all the ladies.... im sitting here my blackity blsck behind needing some aquafina😂 cuz the thirst! Even in his 60s dwight just has that swag...
You won't see much of him dancing because he's actually very shy and doesn't allow the cameras to do much from waist down. But I saw him in concert numerous times and I promise your wife she'd be mesmerized!
Hi guys. For 2 more of my favorite Dwight songs, check out Readin', Writin' and Route 23 and then a cover he does of an older classic country song called Smoke Along the Tracks. Both worth the watch.
He played the mean boyfriend in the movie sling blade. He sat with Carl very calmly when Carl said "Recon I'm guna kill ya now" then Carl stood up & chopped into pieces.
Ya, if you guys haven't seen Sling Blade, you really should watch it! It's an awesome movie! It's not a horror movie like the title sounds. It's more about the friendship the developes between a boy and an old man who's been in a mental institution most of his life. Must see!
@@patrigilligan2112 that's right. My description may have made it sound more like a horror movie. I was trying to emphasize how calmly the entire conversation was. It is a great movie
Love Dwight Yoakam but this song 1982 official video is a better version of this song. And if you like his dancing he does quite a show in the video for As Fast As You. Nice that the audience sings with him in this version.
This song is a true classic I wasn't even thought of when it originally came out. A 1950s Honky tonk classic. Dwight brought it back as a top ten single.

You're so lucky. He was supposed to come up to Anchorage but it never happened. He and Jack white are by far my bucket list performers.

i was NOT a country music fan, I was a METAL head, until I heard Dwight in 1986. Loved his albums. He was hardcore country honky tonk.
He is an Awesome actor
Dee-white Yoakum! About time somebody appreciated this man. Bakersfield California country music. Couldn't be any better.
Things Changes.
Dwight is my favorite. I've seen him live so many times I can't count!
Unique voice. Duet with his hero Buck Owens- "Streets of Bakersfield"

Check out "Fast As You" by Dwight Yoakam it was a huge Dance hit in the 90s
My sister and I saw Dwight perform in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was a lot of fun. He did an encore because the audience kept clapping and wanting more. 💕
Dwight inherited the hips of Elvis! He has made so many women just completely swoon with his hip movements!
Love Dwight

Johnny Horton sang the original version
This was a Johnny Hornton song.

Wanted to say hi from Pennsylvania...John K.
This song was written by the great Johnny Horton in the 50s.
He played the mean boyfriend in the movie sling blade. He sat with Carl very calmly when Carl said "Recon I'm guna kill ya now" then Carl stood up & chopped into pieces.

Did you know that deewhite yoakam brought around the skinny jeans
originally a hit by Johnny Horton back in the 50's
Artist of 80’s and 90’s were successful IF they recorded songs for Dancehalls.
King George was the master of Dancehall music.
This song is a true classic I wasn't even thought of when it originally came out. A 1950s Honky tonk classic. Dwight brought it back as a top ten single.
You for sure know the song from him
I only watched cuz of dwight
It's a little yodeling in his songs
Rockabilly yodle.
Justin. Pete andersen. Dwights guiutar and producer, can play.
Dwight is actually very shy and limits the camera shots from the waist down.
it's an old Johnny Horton song.it's not his song.
If you like this one try fast as you can.
He was a sexy man. (He's a bit older now ...)
Although it’s not his song
Brother. Sorry.
